Hello and welcome.

Curiosity through meditation can assist us in seeing ourselves and our lives clearly.

It helps us recognize barriers,

Judgments,

And conditionings and invites us to embrace what is alive and present in this moment right now.

You can discover the who,

What,

When,

Where,

And why of you just by remaining open and curious,

Asking yourself,

What is it I feel in this moment?

Try not to attach any stories or interpretations or judgments to find an answer.

Just be still and wait.

Stay open,

Inquisitive,

Yet playful.

Try to feel the direct experience of being and embrace your whole self.

So let us try it together,

Just for five minutes to start,

And once you feel comfortable at five minutes,

You can stretch to ten minutes and fifteen.

It's up to you,

But let us begin at five.

Sitting comfortably or lying down,

Find a posture that keeps you awake and at ease.

It helps to lower your gaze or close your eyes if you feel safe enough to do so.

I will begin the practice with the bell,

But will not close the practice with it,

So you can continue to expand your meditation time with ease and curiosity.

For reference,

Five minutes ends with the third question,

So let us begin.

Start by focusing on your breath.

Keep a light focus on your in-breath and out-breath.

If it helps,

You may want to make a note and repeat to yourself,

I am breathing in,

Or an abbreviated note of in-breath.

I am breathing out or out-breath.

Do what works best for you.

What is it I feel in this moment?
