Today on Wholehearted,
Compassionately writing your story.
Welcome.
Notice your breath.
Notice your body.
Allow yourself to settle and begin to become aware your state of being.
Your frequency.
Your energy.
Your cultivated inner environment.
This place from which your life flows.
Dear one.
How have you been generating your life today?
If you are the cause,
What are you causing?
If we are the sole uncontested author of our life,
What story have you been writing today?
Breathe.
Notice any emotions that arise within you.
I invite you to allow them to flow like a passing wave.
Whatever they are,
Let them wash over you and let their wisdom soak into your being.
This is the time and space for compassion,
For healing,
For self love,
Honesty,
Forgiveness,
Love.
Pure,
Unwavering love for the fact that you are human and you are deserving.
Take a deep breath in.
Simply exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Breathe.
What story have you been writing today?
Have you been writing a story of fear or of love?
Are you as the main character of your story in a tragedy of sadness and despair?
On your way through life as it has always been?
Or are you while facing moments of sadness or despair on your journey of love,
Of unfolding beauty?
Is your story a hopeless one?
Or is your story an unfolding journey of love?
So much in life we unconsciously identify with the fear within us.
We reject our darkness,
Yet in our turning away from our difficult emotions,
We unknowingly tie ourselves in a bond with that which we are not willing to face.
We begin to believe that it is who we are.
We are not taught how to hold our fears with compassion.
We are not shown how to love the entirety of our human experience.
How to hold it with loving awareness,
Compassion,
And grace.
Within our fears,
Even our darkness.
For dear one,
In the light of love,
All darkness is illuminated.
Like a candle transforming a dark room,
Love holds space for all of you and all of your experience.
If you wonder,
Dear one,
If you too are this love,
Yes you are.
For you see,
Dear one,
We are conditioned to believe we are separate.
That we live in a world of one versus another.
That if one wins,
Another must lose.
We are taught to hold a belief of separation rather than oneness.
But we are one.
Look at nature.
Notice the trees,
The plants,
The ocean,
The sky.
Notice how all live in harmony.
We have a choice.
Living a journey of love does not mean that you won't face your own beliefs of separation,
Of fear.
In fact,
It means you will face them.
Living a journey of love means that you will notice and see your own thoughts and beliefs of fear and separation in yourself,
In your own mind and conversation.
This is the sacred ground where your pen meets the page.
For when you see and face your own darkness and your own fear,
You may feel the familiar impulse to scorn and reject and pull away,
Tempting you to remain trapped in its grasp.
But I invite you to notice another hand reaching out to you.
The light of love.
If,
Dear one,
You are willing,
I invite you to turn your heart towards its warmth.
It is an invitation to face your fears with compassion.
It is an invitation to melt away their hold on you through the warmth and healing power of love.
For you see,
Dear one,
Underneath it all,
We are all innocently born and live and breathe.
We all face hurt and we all pick up that which is not ours.
It is all right to let it go.
Can you compassionately hold your own journey of love?
Can you love your fears,
Love your darkness as well as your light?
And in your loving,
Feel your tension release.
All that is left is love.
What does your journey feel like when love is the author of your story?
The writer with the pen on your page.
