Activating contentment.

Letting it land.

Begin by sitting or laying down somewhere comfortable.

Let your body be supported.

Let your breath be natural.

Take a moment to arrive.

Notice this moment.

Gently bring your awareness to what is here right now.

What is good in this moment.

Maybe it's the quiet.

A soft pillow behind you.

The warmth of sunlight.

The gift of time to pause.

Let something simple and nourishing come to mind.

Even just the fact that you are breathing.

Or that you made special space for yourself.

Now whisper to yourself.

This is good.

I let it land.

This is good.

I let it land.

This is good.

I let it land.

Breathe it in.

And feel it.

Now place a hand on your chest or belly.

Or maybe there is a different part of your body that wants to be held.

And notice the warmth of your own touch.

Feel the rise and fall of your breath beneath your palm.

Say quietly in your heart.

I don't need to chase anything right now.

There is goodness already here.

I let myself have this.

And breathe.

If you can feel even a hint of comfort,

Ease or goodness.

Pause with it.

Linger in the feeling.

Savor it like honey on the tongue.

Stay with it for at least 30 seconds.

Let your nervous system register this as real.

Say to yourself.

This belongs to me.

I am allowed to feel this.

I can have this.

You don't need to do anything to deserve it.

Just receive.

Before you open your eyes,

Bring a small moment of gratitude to your heart.

Gratitude for this breath.

Gratitude for your willingness.

Gratitude for your body still here,

Still open.

Take one more deep breath in through your nose.

And out through your mouth.

And when you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Let this be your ritual every day for even a minute.

Let something good land.

This is how the having circuitry is built.

One breath,

One moment,

One yes at a time.
