Welcome into this meditation to activate your feminine energy particularly to support with anxiety.
I'm Scarlet,
Meditation teacher and therapist.
I'm here to guide you along the way so come in find a comfy position and we'll get started Take your time to find that position you need to be in and if you can we're going to do this practice sitting up as it's a little easier but we'll be doing some really really gentle movement.
Once you find a position you're happy in let's just begin to breathe starting by taking a deep breath in through your nose and then allowing yourself to release that breath all the way out through your mouth letting everything go well done practicing this a few more times so deep breath in through your nose filling up your lungs filling up your chest filling up your whole body once you get to the top of that breath simply allow yourself to let go breathe everything out through your mouth allow your body to really relish and enjoy in this movement and continue to breathe in just whatever way feels good to you seeing if you can relax your shoulders allow any tension in your neck in your back to softly melt softening the body when we carry anxiety when we're feeling anxious we'll be holding in the body without even realizing at times and there will often be a rigidity to our body because we're holding and so we're teaching our body if we can that it's safe to let go we want to come back to what we might call our feminine energy our yin energy to really help with anxiety because this part of ourselves reconnects with our true nature this part of ourself is cyclical and unordered and when we struggle with anxiety we can want certainty order and things to be linear and yet of course as you probably know life is not always like that so where does our support come in at times like that well our support can really come in by connecting to this more feminine energy this more nature-based practice coming back to our true nature and then we're going to start to let go even more so if we can of our worries of trying to find an answer to things and we are going to remember even more so our things have a way of working out and that things are cyclical so what i want you to do if you can i invite you to take one hand and with the other hand you're simply going to start to really gently draw circles on the palm of your hand so you can perhaps take your left hand and then with your right you allow your hand or maybe just a finger two fingers whatever feels good you allow that hand to start to trace a circle on your left hand over and over i want you to see if you can breathe as you do this and i want you to see if you can feel the compassion the softness the gentleness that comes through you but more than anything your body starts to ignite with and remember what this circle motion feels like where there is no start and there is no end this represents life itself there are beginnings,
Rebirths,
Endings,
Deaths,
Rebirths again and again things make so much sense when we reconnect with this energy this energy is a powerful place to be i'm gonna leave you for a few moments tracing that circle over and over enjoying the movement of it and i'll come back to you in a moment just noticing how that's feeling or how it felt and you can perhaps place your hands back now to your lap how do you feel how are you doing just asking yourself if you can without judgment where in your life are you forgetting everything we're talking about today where are you trying to push too hard or make sense of things before they're ready let's absorb a few affirmations before we finish today my life does not need to go in a certain order because i trust in my life and life itself life is not linear nor should it be or does it have to be life has ups and downs waves to it but in the waves there is certainty and i lean into that so life and my life is cyclical in nature it's not a straight line i let go i let go i let go i do not need to know what's coming next because i trust it things have a way of working themselves out if only i let them the divine feminine in me connects with nature herself and is nature herself i both know and do not know and that is okay i am both certain and uncertain and that is okay instead of pushing hard and pushing forwards i release and i make this cyclical circle motion on my hand each time i need to remember that life is not linear a few more deep breaths here bit by bit just becoming more and more aware of your surroundings and starting to blink your eyes open if they're not already take some time to readjust to your body the space the room well done again just noticing how that feels in your body if connecting to this side of yourself feels like a relief maybe when the last time even was that you felt connected to this side of yourself i want you to remember every time you get overwhelmed every time you know you're putting pressure on yourself on others on your life i want you to see if you can come back to this either by breathing with the waves or by placing hand on the palm and making those circles because that allows you to remember that you do not need in order to be okay but life has a different way of moving that you do not always need maps plans and evidence to be okay nature does not work like that nor do you the trees do not have maps plans and evidence and nor do you need that either come back to this each time you need to remember this and allow yourself to enjoy releasing anxiety bit by bit as you do this if you need more support with anxiety i have so much here to offer you come into the somatic practices i have the other meditations take your time and i'll see you in another practice
