A guided morning meditation for a great start to your day! This was recorded outside in Costa Rica so there are a lot of bird sounds in the background. We start with a breathing exercise to help you wake up, then move into a gratitude practice. Next we set an intention for your day and activate that intention during the meditation and manifest it for today. Enjoy!

Good morning!

I am on an amazing vacation in Costa Rica and the monkeys on the roof woke me up early so I thought I would make a little morning meditation for you guys since I have a lot of cool background sounds including perfectly timed roosters.

So go ahead and start by taking some deeper breaths.

If it's clear you can breathe in through your nose.

Hold it for a second and then let it out with a little bit of a sigh through your mouth.

And start to imagine that you're clearing out any of the stagnant energy of your sleep or your dreams as you exhale.

And start to notice how your body feels and see if you have the urge to do any stretching at all and go ahead and do that now.

And just continue breathing as you stretch allowing your muscles to soak up plenty of oxygen and release anything that they want to release.

And allow the next breath to open up your chest and stretch your shoulders back.

And then on the exhale they just drop and relax.

And I'd like you now to think of three things that you're grateful for.

And you can upgrade your gratitude practice by not just thinking about what you're grateful for but also noticing why you're grateful for that thing.

So I'd like you to take a couple of seconds with each of your three gratitudes and picture in your mind's eye yourself with that person,

Place,

Thing that you're grateful for and think about why you're grateful for it.

And as you notice that reason why you should feel that gratitude really like tingling or warmth or a smile on your face.

And just also notice those physical sensations.

Remember to keep breathing imagining that inhaling you're soaking up more of the energy of gratitude and love.

Now we'll move from gratitude into setting a theme or an intention for your day.

So take a second to think about what you would like that to be.

So this isn't a specific goal like a thing you want to accomplish this is a broader category like maybe love,

Joy,

Peace,

Energy,

Confidence,

Courage,

Trust your gut whatever comes to you is the right thing of what you would like to be your theme or intention for today.

And we'll start by actually bringing that in now by remembering a time when you really felt that way when you were really doing that quality.

So remember that time picture it again in your mind's eye see yourself doing that or being that quality.

Remember what it felt like when you did that and remember how your body felt when you did that.

And that should recreate that feeling in the present.

So notice that and soak that up and see if that even makes you want to change your posture or your facial expression and just allow that quality to really come into the present as you relive that memory.

And now go ahead and visualize bringing that quality into your day.

So see yourself in the future today really living and being that intention that you set.

See your day going really well.

Take a couple more deep breaths imagining that you're really soaking in that intention with the inhale and on the exhale it just spreads out through every cell out to the tips of your fingers the tips of your toes throughout your surrounding energy.

And you can even imagine sending it out the more that you create the more that it grows and you can send it out.

So now I think that you are ready to start your day you can start to open your eyes and do any more stretches or movements that you want to do and I wish you an amazing amazing day.
