So let's close our eyes.
And the first thing we shall do in this meditation is to turn our attention to the natural process of breathing.
The most striking evidence of our inseparability exists literally just under our nose.
But first let us just feel how this breathing as it flows through the body is the direct expression of life in us.
So And now let's turn our attention to look for the hidden breather.
Is it us?
Is there really an I am breathing?
Of course not.
Let us realize that the body is being breathed by the breather.
Indeed a breather that is,
So to speak,
Is behind the backs of all of us in the room at the moment.
Let us feel how the hidden breather is breathing us.
Taking an in-breath and out-breath.
Let us feel how the hidden breather is breathing us.
Now follow through the process of breathing all the way to the hidden breather.
Try to look who is the hidden breather.
Go behind your own back.
Let us feel how the hidden breather is breathing us.
And then gently merge your mind,
Your consciousness with the hidden breather.
And become one with the breather letting your mind drop and diffuse into it.
Who is the hidden breather?
Realize that there is only the hidden breather and the bodies between them.
There is no real I.
There has never been.
So now let the hidden breather flow into the body.
Feel it with its mysterious presence.
Unified with the body.
From behind the back all the way to the front.
So that breather and breath become one being and one movement.
Like alin'a any final words?
And from this state,
Try to gently answer this question.
If there is no I am breathing,
What does it imply about your so-called thoughts,
Your so-called emotions,
Your so-called actions?
If there is no I am breathing,
What does it imply about your so-called actions?
If there is no I am breathing,
What does it imply about your so-called actions?
If there is no I am breathing,
What does it imply about your so-called actions?
So,
Slowly and gently,
You can return to your so-called consciousness.
And activate again your I consciousness.
