Welcome to this I am Yoganidra meditation.
Today we will use a breathing technique that will help you work with physical pain,
Detoxification,
Physical or emotional,
In the body.
You can also use it to clear any reaction,
Whether it's old or new.
This meditation is specifically designed to help you allow and breathe with any emotions that we normally suppress,
Avoid or deny.
By spending a few minutes with these sensations,
Whether physical or emotional,
We can help them clear the system in a healthy way,
Rather than build up over time.
This technique is also excellent for accepting rather than reacting to pain,
Which can reduce our overall experience of pain.
Now,
Just lie down in a comfortable place,
Yoganidra position,
With your arms along your sides,
Or in a sitting position,
With your hands on your thighs.
Just make sure that you are supremely comfortable.
And so just now bring into awareness a situation that feels incomplete.
If you don't have a situation,
Just observe any area where the breath feels restricted or absent,
Or where you feel pain or discomfort in the body.
If you're working with a situation,
Feel it fully.
Make it very real for you,
As if you were in the middle of it right now.
And as you make that situation real,
Just notice where the whole thing,
That incomplete situation,
Lives in your body.
If you're working with a physical sensation,
Just notice where it is,
And what it feels like.
And now,
Whether it's a physical or an emotional sensation,
Just notice if you were to describe the sensation or situation,
What would you say?
What does it feel like?
Just be aware.
Breathe into that place of sensation,
And notice if you're using the breath to try to make it go away.
And instead,
Use the breath to build what is there.
Use the breath to hang out with it.
Breathe into it.
Just let it be as it is.
And keep breathing.
Simply observe what you're aware of now.
If the sensation has moved or changed,
Just follow it,
And stay with it.
Let it all be fully felt as it is.
As if to say to it,
I'm willing to feel you.
Breathe with it,
Stay with it,
Experiencing without trying to change anything,
And simply observe what you're aware of now,
Making no effort to control or manipulate,
And cultivating a sense of relaxation in the midst of all of it.
Continue to breathe with what is present,
As if to say to it,
It's okay that you're here,
I'm willing to feel you,
And simply observe what you're aware of now.
If the sensation keeps moving or changing,
Just stay present,
And be curious and interested in what you're feeling.
If you feel yourself moving into avoidance,
Just breathe,
And come back to an openness as to what you're feeling.
Just notice what happens in your body as you remain present,
Relaxed,
And connected.
And continue to use your breath and attention to be with it all,
Just as it is.
And then simply observe what you're aware of now,
And remove yourself from any tendency to control or to resist,
It just needs to be acknowledged.
Just let it be as it is,
Without needing it to be different.
And now bring your attention to the center between your eyebrows,
To the eye chakra,
And draw below whatever is happening,
To a space of silence.
Whether the sensation has shifted or not,
Allow integration to happen with where you are now,
And know that any releases,
Shifts and changes that are ready to take place will happen spontaneously and effortlessly.
Trust that any time that you come back here,
Your body will release a little more.
Now it is time for your body to rest deeply,
And let go of any need to make anything happen,
Allowing any energy to come to a state of harmony and balance with where you are now,
And allowing any recalibration to happen in this deep space of silence.
Remain here as long as you like,
And when you feel complete,
You may open your eyes,
Knowing that you can come back here,
To this quiet space,
As many times as you need,
To continue the process of clearing.
If you were working with a specific situation,
Just bring it back into your awareness now,
And see it through new eyes,
Clear from any reaction,
Pre-programmed past.
See what there is to see,
Or to know about your situation,
Now that you have cleared your reaction.
But if nothing comes,
Just trust that you have released what was ready to be released today.
Remain here as long as you like,
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
This concludes today's yoga nidra experience.
