Hello and welcome to this guided meditation to support your immune system and your healing.

Our immune system is an incredibly complex and powerful system of protection for the body,

And yet if we are experiencing high levels of stress or anxiety,

We begin to inhibit our immune system's ability to work properly.

You'll often find that you'll go through a period of extreme stress and you'll come down with a cold or a bug or a flu,

So it is incredibly important to dedicate time and awareness to supporting our immune system and all that it does for us on a daily basis,

Calming our nervous system and allowing it to function,

To heal from a deeply relaxed and present state.

And so let's begin together by getting comfortable,

Preferably lying down so you can let your body fully relax,

Allowing the hands to fall by the side with the palms facing up,

The head supported,

Maybe a pillow beneath your knees.

Just arriving here in this moment,

Being grateful that you have dedicated this time to nourishing and supporting your immune system.

Maybe you're feeling poorly,

Maybe you're feeling unwell or you're recovering from surgery or sickness or you're undergoing treatment of some kind.

Whatever your need is,

This meditation will benefit your immune system response by allowing that time and space for it to function optimally.

So first and foremost,

Let's acknowledge that our incredible body,

The vessel that we inhabit,

Has the ability to heal itself given the right environment,

The right circumstances.

Let's just breathe into that moment of how incredibly wonderful that is.

Now of course sometimes it might do things that are wrong,

That are incorrect,

But often this is due to environmental or circumstantial factors that have led to our immune system being compromised.

Or maybe something in our genetics have allowed something to unfold.

Your body will still be trying to heal you even if you're sick.

And so alongside anything else you might be doing,

Alongside any other support,

Any sort of healing or medical help you might be receiving,

Allow this meditation to support you through that process,

To complement the other work that you're doing,

The journey that you're on.

And so as we settle in,

Let's begin by taking some deep breaths.

Those deep belly breaths and those long slow exhales directly impact our immune system's ability to function.

And so if you've gone about your day breathing these light shallow breaths,

Your body is just calling out to you to slow things down,

To welcome in that spaciousness and breathing at whatever pace is comfortable for you.

But if you can just trying to lengthen your exhales ever so slightly because that's where we're going to connect with that deep relaxation.

Using that breath as a bridge between your mind,

Body and spirit,

And the ability for all three to work together in harmony to facilitate that healing for your body.

And as you breathe,

Beginning to picture this beautiful white light surrounding you,

This circle of protection,

Powerful white light,

Healing and nurturing energy.

And as you breathe,

As you sink deeper into the present moment,

A white light glows brighter,

Becomes stronger,

More defined,

Feeling your body encased in that beautiful glow,

Pure light,

The healing energy of the universe surrounding you,

Supporting your immune system,

Supporting your ability to heal,

Facilitating that environment from the outside in.

Now it's perfectly okay if you begin to fall asleep during this meditation,

Because your body does the majority of its healing work when you're sleeping.

So if you do fall asleep,

Just know that these words and any affirmations we use are going to help speak to your subconscious and do its very own healing work on you as you sleep.

And if you fall asleep quickly,

It's usually a sign that your body is asking for that rest,

It's asking for that nurturing.

So don't fight it.

This is perfect time for you to take a nap or even move into your deep sleep for the night.

Now beginning to move inside of the body,

So away from this beautiful white light that we've encased ourselves in,

Instead moving beneath the skin to the very core of us,

Energetically feeling what's going on inside our body,

Feeling any soreness or stiffness,

Aching,

Acknowledging that there might be repair work.

Our immune system might be working for us at this very moment,

Fighting off infection or protecting us from viruses.

It knows exactly what to do.

So let's trust for it to do that for us.

Let's not doubt it.

Simply being supportive and giving space for it to do its work,

Because that's all it needs from us.

It needs us to not doubt it.

It needs us to trust its process.

Maybe we want to take that opportunity as we focus all of that intention to inside of our body,

Sending gratitude to our immune system,

Our body for its ability to care for us,

For the protection that it has shown us throughout our whole life,

For everything we have recovered from and everything that we will recover and heal from moving forward or at this very moment.

Remembering to come back to our breathing as we focus on that gratitude.

We might have some distractions,

Some feelings of doubt coming up or maybe even discomfort,

Pain,

But knowing that the more that you sink deeply into just this moment of quiet,

The more you focus on those slow deep belly breaths,

The more pain will ease,

The more power you give to your body and your immune system to look after you.

But maybe you need a focus.

Maybe you need a mantra or an affirmation to focus on as we are present and hold space for our immune system to work.

So here are a few prompts for you to use,

For you to fill in the gaps so that it's applicable to your own situation.

I trust my body to heal.

My body is constantly healing from.

I honor and respect my body's natural process of healing.

My immune system is strong when I look after my peace and reduce my stress.

I am focusing on strengthening my healing process.

I am focusing on strengthening my immune system.

My immune system is strong.

My immune system is strong.

My immune system is strong.

Honoring the intelligence,

Honoring the innate wisdom within you,

Cultivating a healing environment for your body to work optimally.

You might begin to imagine that that white light that was cocooning us now begins to penetrate our skin and energetically begins to enter the body through every cell,

Every muscle,

Every tissue,

Every sinew,

Every organ,

Passing this cleansing energy through the body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Feeling the lightness that this facilitates,

The purifying and the cleansing and the healing that it holds for us.

There is so much power in trusting our body and often on a healing journey it can feel like we stop trusting ourselves and we surrender a lot of that power into the hands of others.

You know what feels right and wrong.

You know what feels good and bad and your immune system is strengthened by that trust,

By that belief,

By that positive energy that you send towards it.

And even if you find yourself doubting it because maybe that's why you found yourself here today,

Maybe you feel like your immune system is weak or isn't working the way that you want it to,

Worrying about it is not going to help.

In fact,

Loving and caring for and listening to your body is the greatest gift you can give your immune system and your ability to heal yourself.

Surrounding yourself with loving,

Caring,

Nurturing energy.

Holding yourself through any stresses,

Pain,

Discomfort that you might experience and coming back to trust.

I trust my body's ability to heal itself.

I trust the process of my healing journey.

I soften into the process of my healing journey.

Now if you haven't fallen asleep already,

I encourage you to take some time to maybe have a little cat nap to continue to integrate and hold on to the messages,

The things we discussed together today.

As you take some time to cultivate this protective and nourishing space for your immune system to exist within,

Solidifying this beautiful partnership between this deeply relaxed state and your body's ability to heal itself,

The bolstering and the strengthening of your immune system.

So allowing space and time to rest,

I leave you in this safe and protective cocoon of healing energy and sending you nothing but love and blessings.
