
Guided Meditation Sound Journey For Emotional Trauma

This meditation is part of a 7 meditation series where we heal aspects of the self that relate to the chakra system. This second one is for healing emotional trauma, which corresponds to aspects of the sacral chakra and deep trust. The meditation focuses on healing all aspects of the emotional self before going into a sound healing journey to bring deeper trauma healing with Karuna Reiki chanting and toning along with crystal healing bowls, pyramids and other sound healing instruments.

This Sambhath meditation is for releasing emotional traumas and triggers.
Now ever so easily and peacefully,
Take a full,
Deep,
Relaxing breath.
Feel it go way down into your belly.
Connect with it there,
Deep,
Full breath,
Pushing out your belly ever so slightly.
Holding your breath just so perfectly there.
Just leaving it out for a moment,
Then releasing it slowly and easily.
And now again with that deep,
Full breath as it comes in,
Fill it up all the way through into your lungs,
All the way deep into your diaphragm,
Pushing out your stomach,
Feeling your lungs entirely filled with air.
And now hold that gently and easily once again and now sip in some more air.
And as you do,
Feel that energy well up in the center of your chest,
That peaceful,
Open feeling.
And as you breathe out slowly and easily,
Send that energy that you've now harnessed to any spot in your body that might be tense or sore or tight.
Any worries of the day,
Any concerns,
Things on your mind eating away at you,
Just feel that energy there.
Go there and soften it,
Making it feel loose and easy,
Peaceful and relaxed.
Now I want you to put your attention at the top of your head and I want you to picture a bright shining light there.
And now this bright shining light up at the top of your head touches down into your head and you feel it send this pulsating wave of relaxation over your entire body,
Beginning at your head.
And as it flows through you and deeply within you,
You breathe it in and feel it connect and then breathe it out.
Feeling peaceful and easy as this wave of relaxation flows over your head now onto your forehead and down the back of your head,
Gently and easily loosening,
Relaxing,
Making peaceful and easy all of the muscles,
Tendons,
Ligaments,
Just feeling them become loose and easy as it goes over your forehead,
Around your eyelids,
Loosening all the muscles there as it flows around your ears,
Just loosening and unraveling all the tense tight sore spots around your head.
As it flows down the back of your neck and around your jaw,
Loosening it ever so slightly as it flows into your cheeks and down over your chin,
Down into your neck and the back of your neck,
Meeting at your shoulders now,
Just unraveling all of the muscles in your shoulders one by one as it flows down your spine,
Just unraveling it,
Letting all the muscles become loose and easy,
Peaceful and still.
Now feeling this feeling in your shoulders now,
It flows gently down your arms,
Relaxing,
Releasing,
Making calm all of the muscles in your arms and your forearms,
Flowing down over your wrists into your hands and out your fingertips now.
As this feeling begins to creep into your chest,
You feel warmth,
A gentle,
Relaxing,
Peaceful warmth flow down into your chest and your stomach,
Letting all of your internal organs feel cool and peaceful.
As this feeling merges into your hip,
You feel this wave just pulsate,
Unraveling the muscles there as it flows into your thighs and your hips,
Just letting it become loose and easy,
Peaceful and still,
And flowing down now around your knees,
Releasing all of the muscles there,
All of the tension,
The soreness,
Just letting it fall away as it flows into your calves now,
Loosening and softening them as they flow around your ankles,
Flowing into the top of your feet and down out through the bottoms of your feet and your toes,
Being in this peaceful wave of relaxation now with each breath that you take,
Making you feel more and more completely,
Effortlessly relaxed.
And now just in this state,
I want you to call your attention to a time,
Perhaps from your past,
Perhaps something much more recent,
A time where you've experienced major emotional trauma,
Something painful,
A memory,
A past event,
A failed relationship,
A difficult experience you've gone through.
Call it to your attention now.
And just for a moment,
Just a brief moment,
I want you to put yourself as much as you can safely into that emotional state that you were in,
The painful part of it.
Just for that brief moment,
Engage that painful memory just for a second from a safe distance now.
So as you see that memory in front of you,
I want you to see it on a small television set.
It can be in black and white,
It can be in color,
As far away that you feel safe and slightly detached from it.
So seeing it there outside of yourself,
Floating there in front of you on the screen,
You feel that it is not you.
Because your past isn't you.
You are only the present.
You are not your future.
You have no past.
You are in the moment.
Now seeing that painful memory in the window of that television,
Seeing it there crystal clear,
Be with that emotion one last time.
Give it as much as you can.
And now if you are really in it and charged by it and feeling it there,
Feeling it just overload your system for a moment,
I want you to take a deep breath again.
Just call in a deep full breath,
Feel it fill up all the way up.
Just hold it and be with it for a moment.
As you let this breath out,
I want you to release and see that image on the screen become just a little bit more blurry as you breathe out slowly and easily and gently,
Feeling a little bit more relieved with this first breath.
So you take another deep breath in,
Deep and full,
Holding it in as tightly as you can,
Then sipping a little more air,
Holding that as well.
One more big sip,
Just holding it there,
Letting it ruminate,
Letting it fill you with energy.
And then slowly,
Peacefully and easily breathing it out,
Feeling that wave of relief and watching the screen become even more blurry,
Feeling it just kind of lose its strength,
The signal is fading.
It's no longer having this extreme deep effect on you.
It's loosening its grasp.
And now taking one more deep full breath,
Filling all the way up,
Sipping some more,
Holding it,
Sipping some more and holding it.
One last deep sip and holding it there,
Peacefully,
Letting that energy well up and just breathing it out,
Feeling that much larger wave of relief.
Just wash over you from the top of your head all the way down through your shoulders,
Your back,
Down through your legs,
Out.
Relief,
Release.
And now that picture on the screen is almost completely snow and you see it there very,
Very faintly.
That image,
That time,
Whatever it is,
And it feels less sharp now.
It's still there,
But it feels less sharp.
And just for a moment,
Suspending all held belief of understanding,
Just for a moment,
Show that horrible thing,
Whatever it was,
That difficult emotional trauma,
Show it just a second of gratitude,
If only for teaching you its opposite.
And see the screen get a little brighter for a moment.
And now seeing that there on the screen,
Widen your view to beyond the television.
And now I want you to just for a moment pretend that you can see the energy coming off of the television,
Almost like tentacles.
See it attaching on you in different places,
Through your emotional body,
Through anywhere on your body specifically.
I want you to see where it attaches and notice it there.
And take a second and think about it.
Remember where it's connected.
And now I want you to see all these cords,
These attachments,
From this traumatic experience and where they're held on your body.
And seeing where they're held on your body,
I want you to gather up all of them into one bundle and hold them there with one of your hands.
I want you to take the other hand and imagine a blade of energy coming off of your hand and you're going to sever these cords now.
And as you feel the knife go through them,
You feel this overwhelming wave of relief gush through you,
This wave of release,
This letting go of attachment,
Of held on pain from suffering,
A repressed pain that wasn't fully experienced now.
Now that you have experienced it,
You can let it go.
So feel that wave of relief wash over you,
Feeling lighter and lighter now.
And now I want you to see behind the TV screen,
A giant plasma screen TV.
And on this screen,
Very clearly,
You see yourself,
You see yourself free and clear,
Free of this negative held emotion from your past.
You see yourself lighter,
More carefree,
More open to all that life has to offer.
You see that joy in your face.
And on that screen,
You see that image and you begin to connect with it and realize that you can be in that space at all times simply by calling it to mind,
Focusing back into this moment and remembering that you are one and we are one and all is one.
And now as the sound begins,
I want you to see that image on the plasma screen TV get brighter and brighter.
But first,
I want you to take one last full deep breath.
And I want you to see that screen that's still there,
That little screen now,
The screen that holds that trauma,
Those triggers with all those cords still trying to dangle and come back.
You're going to send one last breath of love and light to it.
So holding your breath,
Bringing a deep full breath in as deep in as you can go and sipping some more air,
And sipping some more air,
Just holding it,
Feeling it well up,
Breathing out slow and easy now and focusing your breath on release.
Focusing your breath now and letting go.
Just be in that flow for a moment as the sound begins to carry you.
And as it does,
Picture the plasma screen getting brighter and brighter and brighter,
Becoming pure light before your eyes as you integrate and feel that flow through your system.
And that small TV screen fades back out of existence,
Flowing back out of your state of being.
And now just take a moment and soak in the silence.
Just let it fill in that void.
And now slowly begin to bring yourself back towards a state of awareness.
Begin to feel yourself in your toes and your fingers,
Feeling an overwhelming sense of release and relief.
For now when you think of those emotions and their ties to you,
They are more dull.
They do not have that same charge,
That same power over you and your state of being.
Feel yourself as you connect,
Knowing deep within that you are better for this,
And this is so.
As you're ready,
Feeling yourself in your hands,
In your arms,
In your legs,
Feeling that sense of connection flow up through you as you feel revitalized and refreshed,
Rejuvenated.
That vibration will permeate your day in a positive and uplifting way.
As you're ready and as you're able,
Feeling yourself fully embodied,
Fully awakened,
Ready for your presence.
Here and now,
Open your eyes,
Feeling wonderful in every way.
