Hi,
My name is Stacey and thank you for joining me for this practice.
Let's begin by settling into the space we're in.
Feel the support that you're sitting on.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
And if it feels comfortable,
You can close your eyes.
Let's take a moment to settle into our breath in our body.
We can do this by taking a few deep breaths.
Breathing in,
Allowing your belly to fill.
Breathing out,
Allowing your body to start to relax.
Breathe in,
Expand the breath within the body.
Breathe out,
Allow your body to let go.
Inhale,
Belly rise.
Exhale,
Belly falls and you relax.
I wanted to focus today on gratitude.
Gratitude is something that we can come to at any moment in our day.
Gratitude is free.
It's a beautiful way to shift one's perspective,
One's mood and even our mindset whenever we're feeling down or feeling in a place of lack or scarcity.
Let's take a moment and think of one thing that we are grateful for right now.
Allow a smile to start to creep into the corners of your mouth as your mind becomes flooded with this feeling of gratitude.
It could be something as small as the purr of your cat.
A walk in nature.
A smile from a passing stranger.
A loved one.
Or a new opportunity.
It doesn't have to be big.
It could be something small and you know it when you feel it in your heart.
The joy of gratitude that radiates out throughout the body.
It's a wonderful way to start the day being grateful.
Notice the shift in your body.
Come back to your breath.
You can wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Listen for any sounds in your room that you're in.
Let go of anything that's bothering you right now.
Let go of anything that's bothering you right now.
Listen for any sounds in your room that you're in.
Outside the room that you're in.
Just coming back to this present moment as we come close to the end of the meditation.
You can take a deep breath in and let it go.
You can flutter your eyes open and begin your day.
Thank you for spending this time with me.
Have a great day.
