Welcome to the Daily Insight.
My name is Jessica Amis,
Founder of Stay With Yourself and teacher here on Insight Timer.
Today's meditation for releasing your thoughts into the universe is designed to help you feel centered within your beingness and let go of thoughts,
Ruminations and worries that originate in the mind.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Exhaling tension in your body,
In through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Dropping shoulders down and back,
Opening your heart space.
One more deep breath in through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Exhaling,
Allowing your body to feel supported and at ease.
Release tension.
Imagine that a hole,
An opening is beginning to form in the top of your brain,
Top of your skull.
It is growing and opening the same way a whirlpool gets bigger or a very gentle tornado grows and reaches down into your brain,
Into your mind and starts gathering up and collecting your thoughts and your worries and your ruminations.
Carrying them up,
Pulling them into itself,
Into this whirlpool,
This gentle tornado and carrying them up and out through the opening in the top of your head.
Feel your mind releasing and letting go of all the things it's been holding onto.
Feel the weight being lifted out of your mind and pulled up,
Up,
Up,
Out of the top of your head,
Up,
Past this room,
Up into the sky,
Past the atmosphere,
Into the universe,
Past sun and moon until it's carried back to source,
Back to light where it is burned up and released where you are free of it.
And if there's any extra little tendrils of thoughts holding on that don't want to be carried away,
Breathe deeply into your brain,
Into your skull,
Into your mind space,
Through your nose,
Out through your mouth,
Allowing the last of your thoughts and worries to be carried upward.
And breathe deeply into your mind.
Feel the vastness,
The free feeling,
The lightness and the clarity,
Freeing your mind of allowing your thoughts to be carried up into the universe and allow yourself to be present in body and in form.
This moment is enough always.
Presence free of thought,
Present to what is,
Able to receive and be with yourself,
With truth and reality here now.
Deep breath in,
Exhale.
Thank you for sharing your meditation practice with me today.
May you stay with yourself today and always.
