This is Stefania and let's do a meditation.
Meditation on remaining calm and centered in a busy world,
Wherever you are.
Even if that busy world is your inner world,
The world in your mind.
Get comfortable sitting,
Lying,
Whatever works for you.
Take a few deep breaths and close your eyes.
Let your body relax as best you can and release any tension you may be holding.
Visualize yourself standing in the middle of a busy street.
The cars are honking,
The people are rushing past you.
Everything is in a state of frantic activity,
But not you.
In the midst of all this activity,
You are calm,
Centered and at peace.
Focus on your breathing.
Take a few slow,
Deep breaths and let your mind slow down.
Imagine each inhale bringing peace into your body and each exhale is letting go of any stress or tension.
Start with your feet.
Feel your feet against whatever surface they are resting on now.
Be it the bed,
Be it the floor or whatever.
Just feel the energy flowing and getting centered,
Starting down with your feet.
Then let your energy just come all the way up your body.
As you breathe in and breathing out,
Any sense of anxiety,
Stress or whatever might be disturbing you or holding you back.
As you breathe,
Feel a sense of confidence growing within you.
You have the power to choose how you react to the world around you.
You don't have to get caught up in the busyness and chaos of that street.
Sometimes it might take a bit or a lot of effort,
But you can learn to remain calm and centered no matter what is going on around you.
Have another breath in.
Slowly out,
Visualize a bubble of calm and peace surrounding you.
This bubble protects you from the frenzied energy of the street,
Of other people.
Inside this bubble,
You are in control of your thoughts and emotions.
You are in a place of inner stillness and peace.
Let's find that place now.
Think of your favorite place that brings you these feelings of calm and peace.
It could be a beach,
The mountains,
You know best where your happy place is.
Go there now.
Feel the warmth and comfort and the peace,
Tranquility of being where you belong.
Give you moments to focus on this peaceful place.
See it as clearly as you can and allow your mind and your body to be absorbed,
To be relaxed.
Hold on to this feeling for a minute so you know just what it feels like,
Because you're going to be able to recreate it anytime,
Anywhere.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and return to the present moment.
Take a deep breath and let it out.
Just relax.
You can carry this feeling with you no matter where you are,
No matter what you're doing.
Whenever you feel overwhelmed by the busyness and frantic energy around you,
Just take a few deep breaths.
That's something you can do anywhere,
Even if people around.
Something you can do.
Take those deep breaths and visualize yourself in your peaceful place and be at peace as well.
All is.
You are strong,
You are calm,
You are centered.
All is well.
And that's the end of our meditation.
Return to it whenever you want.
The more you do it,
The more easily you'll be able to find that space,
That peace,
Wherever you are,
Even if you are surrounded by people.
It won't matter.
You'll know how to go within while still being without.
All is well.
