So you're going to want to lay down on a comfortable flat surface for this practice.

And that can be on a mat or in the grass,

Even on your bed,

As long as your back can be flat.

And just begin by letting your body settle in,

Allowing yourself to melt into the surface below,

Giving in to gravity here,

Feeling the back body melting deeper into the floor or the bed or the mat,

Just settling in.

Begin noticing your breath,

Not forcing it,

Just watching it,

Watching it effortlessly rise and fall just for a moment,

And beginning to imagine stars all around you,

As if you're in this vast black space and there's stardust and suns and stars all around you.

And now feel that you can imagine the light of the full moon,

And feel the light of the moon drawing in through the gateways of your five senses.

So you feel it coming in now through your eyes,

Your nose,

Your mouth,

Ears,

Even the pores of your skin and the top of your head.

Just focus on this full moon light coming in through all of those gateways.

And now concentrate on this light coming in through the head.

Feel this light drawing in through the head,

And then again drawing out through the gateways and flooding the whole space around you with moonlight.

Coming in and going out through your senses,

Filling the space around you with moonlight.

Stay here,

Drawing the moonlight in and then drawing it out,

Drawing it in and drawing it out.

And if the mind wanders,

That's okay.

Just bring it back to drawing the moonlight in through your senses.

Keep bringing it back.

And now I want you to feel the brain.

Feel your brain soaking in this moonlight like a sponge.

So feel your brain absorbing this milky,

Glowing moonlight.

Just imagine this moonlight is all around you,

And then you're pulling it in through your head and your brain is soaking it up.

And now drop your awareness down into the throat.

And visualize inside the body at the throat level,

This beautiful blue ball of light.

Just take a minute to get a clear visual of this beautiful blue ball of light.

And as you inhale,

Sense this ball of blue light.

As you exhale,

Feel and notice this blue light expand out in all directions,

Even outside your body.

So you're breathing in,

Focusing on the blue light,

And exhaling out,

Watching it expand.

Again,

If the mind wanders off,

Just ding a little bell in your mind and come back to the blue ball of light at the throat.

And bring your attention now down into the heart.

And whatever way it comes to you,

In whatever color,

Form,

Or image,

Feel prana in front of you at the space of the heart.

So feel this infinite flow of energy,

Prana,

Moving from the front of your body,

Through your heart,

Back to your shoulder blades,

Behind you,

And then wrapping all around you like angel wings.

So this infinite flow of energy is coming into you,

The front of your body,

Into the heart,

Behind you,

And then wrapping around you like a hug.

And if a different image arises,

Please go with that,

Allow it.

Just focus on this feeling of safety and pure divine love.

Stay here,

And again,

If the mind wanders,

That's okay.

Notice it,

Ding a little bell,

And come back to the energy practice.

You should be feeling super relaxed by now.

And so now we're going to move into the vyana,

And it's very simple.

So just feel your breath rise as you inhale,

And fall as you exhale.

And notice your ability to circulate the breath from the roots of your body into your belly,

Up into your heart,

Then into your throat as you inhale.

And then exhale,

Feel it come all the way back down through those four vayus on the way out.

Notice your ability to circulate the breath from your root through your body,

Inhaling,

Feeling the breath at the root,

Then the belly,

The heart,

The chest,

The rib cage,

And even the collarbones expand.

And then as you exhale,

It goes back down the way it came up,

Watching the breath as it draws in through the root,

All the way up to the throat,

And then watching it go back down the same way,

And just noticing it,

Consciously watching and feeling the breath move through and clear these channels,

These pathways.

The ability of the breath to reach all these places within you is called vyana.

In Ayurveda and Tantra,

This is an energy healing practice.

And now,

If it feels good for you,

For these last few moments,

Just pick the vayu that felt like it most needed you.

So,

Was it your root,

Was it your belly,

Was it your heart,

Was it your throat,

Was it the head?

Don't worry about getting this right,

Just intuitively feel which area needed your attention the most.

So if it was the roots,

Bring your attention to the legs,

If it was the belly,

Bring your attention to the navel,

And so on.

So maybe you need to work with moving your awareness through all of them.

Focus your attention where you feel you need it the most.

And just be here for these last few moments,

Be in this part of you that needs the most love and attention from you.

And you can take another minute longer,

Or stay here as long as you feel you need to.

And when you're ready,

Just wiggle your fingers and toes,

And gently bring yourself up to a sitting position,

Maybe shake out your hands,

Shake out your feet,

Recalibrate your vision so just looking around the room,

Focusing on an object in the room,

And then turning your head and focusing on another object in the room,

Bringing your awareness back.

I hope you enjoyed this practice.

Namaste.
