Welcome.
This is the second of two guided meditations of encouraging words to support you when you need a little encouragement.
Let's start by finding a quiet,
Comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes gently.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
And slowly exhale through the mouth,
A nice sighing exhale.
Let your body relax.
Feel the weight of your body resting on the surface beneath you.
Breathing deeply and evenly,
Settling in,
Wiggling your neck,
Wiggling your toes,
Shaking it out.
Stretching if you need to,
To let yourself really relax.
And now we're going to use the breath as we think these words of affirmation and encouragement.
Start by breathing in and thinking to yourself,
I am confident in my abilities.
I have the strength to persevere.
Take that in and now breathing out,
Release any doubts.
I am doing my best and that is enough.
I'm worthy of happiness and success.
Just take a moment to take that in,
Really letting the words sink in.
I'm confident in my abilities.
I have the strength to persevere.
I know that I am doing my best and that is enough.
I'm worthy of happiness and success.
And now inhale deeply,
Filling yourself with confidence.
I trust the process and my journey.
I have overcome challenges before and I can do it again.
Exhale,
Letting go of fear.
I'm in control of my own destiny.
I can do what it takes to achieve my dreams and my goals.
I believe in myself.
With each breath in,
Feel your strength growing.
I'm proud of how far I have come.
Really think about the journey you've been on and how far you've come.
I have faced many difficulties with courage and determination and I can do this again.
With each breath out,
Feel yourself letting go of stress.
I am constantly growing and improving.
I am surrounded by support and love.
Really think about how that's true,
Even in those moments when you feel deeply alone,
Remembering all of the support and love that is actually out there and available.
Continue to breathe steadily.
Repeat these affirmations silently to yourself,
Feeling the magic of each word resonating deeply within you.
I have the power to create positive change.
I embrace challenges as opportunities to grow.
Let's try that again.
I have the power to create positive change.
I embrace challenges as opportunities to grow.
I am at peace with myself and my path.
Really reflecting on what that feels like to invite a sense of peace with the path that you have traveled and the path that you're carrying forward.
I trust my intuition and inner wisdom.
You've got that wise mind,
I know you do.
When we turn down the noise and the volume of emotion mind,
We turn down the volume of the shoulds and consequences,
And we listen to that deep inner wisdom.
That is the voice we can trust.
I am grateful for my strengths and talents.
I am resilient and I can bounce back from any setback.
I have before and I will again.
I am in harmony with my goals and dreams.
I am worthy of all of the good things in life.
If you doubt that,
Give yourself the opportunity to say it to yourself anyway.
I am worthy,
I am.
I'm worthy of all the good things in life.
Visualize yourself overcoming whatever obstacles you're facing in the next hours or the next days or the next weeks,
Months or years.
Feeling a sense of achievement and pride.
Imagine a bright warm light filling your body,
Radiating confidence and strength.
Slowly bring your awareness back into the present moment.
Come back into the room.
Stretch.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a final deep breath in,
And we're going to do a loud sighing exhale,
Breathing in.
Ah.
That sighing exhale is meant to release endorphins.
We all love endorphins.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this feeling of self-belief and encouragement with you throughout your day.
You can turn to this meditation whenever you need a reminder of your strength and resilience.
You are capable of amazing things.
