Antarctica Peace Mediation

We all could use peace in our lives and while Susan cruised the Antarctica Peninsula she was inspired to create this mediation. The serenity she felt there inspired her to create this guided meditation using visualization to bring you into the moments she experienced and the serenity she felt.

Hi,

This is Susan Dentino.

Welcome to this Antarctica meditation.

I am recording this meditation in Antarctic waters and the peace is just so overwhelming that I wanted to share this with you in a meditation.

There won't be any music playing because I really want you to get into visualizing what I am saying.

I am going to be describing to you exactly what I am passing and in as much detail as I can so you can really get into this energy.

Last year I was on a world cruise as well and after the cruise many people asked me what my favorite place was and I couldn't identify a specific place.

I enjoyed being in Australia,

Swimming in the Great Barrier Reef,

Snorkeling in the Maldives.

I've been very blessed with all of the locations that I have seen but I have to say having been the past few days in the Antarctic waters this is by far the favorite place I've ever been in.

So to describe what I'm experiencing right now I am on a cruise ship and we are doing what I would call a drive-by.

So we pull into certain bays that our ship can get into and then we see what we can see.

The captain who is amazing is able to do a complete 180 turn around and then we leave wherever it is.

It's very protected here because of the whales,

Sea life,

Penguins,

All different things.

So we are going very slow which gives us an incredible opportunity to see wildlife.

I've seen whales and that's the energy we're going to connect with.

I'm going to talk a little bit about whale energy and we're going to connect with that energy in addition to visualizing and really encompassing all this peace I'm feeling in every part of you.

So I want to share with you something that I looked up.

This is from Diana Cooper's Archangel Animal Oracle Cards and I looked up the whale and basically the whale is to live as a fully conscious being.

That's the message we're going to be focusing on while we do this meditation.

Now what does that mean?

Well the guidance is that this is the card of mastery.

One of the first steps is to be able to control your breathing and I talk about that a lot in my meditations.

How important it is to focus on the breath and when we find our mind wandering,

Which it will do because that's what minds do,

Nothing unusual about that,

We will bring ourselves back by focusing on the breath.

So anytime you feel yourself going off to your to-do lists,

Any worries or concerns you might have,

Bring yourself back to the breath and in the beginning of the meditation I'm going to be spending some time relaxing ourselves using the breath.

When you focus on your breath you connect consciously to source and your place of origin.

So whatever you consider to be a higher power,

Whatever you call it,

Source,

Universe,

Love,

When you focus on breathing that's your intention to have a direct connection to your source.

Whale wisdom suggests you center yourself through breathing or deepen your meditation practice.

So if your meditation practice is something that's fallen off,

This meditation is an invitation to begin again and to remember that it doesn't have to be complicated.

You can do a meditation for two minutes,

Three minutes,

Focus on your breath for a few minutes.

It doesn't have to be anything that gets complicated.

People will say to me,

Well I don't have time.

You can get in touch with that part of your center just by taking a few deep breaths,

Taking a minute,

Two minutes.

So I invite you to begin a meditation practice if you haven't done so and if you are a practicing meditator then this is just going to add to your arsenal of meditations.

Rise above worldly matters and spread love,

Light,

Hope,

And inspiration to those around you.

Ask that your fifth dimensional blueprint be fully installed and live it.

No matter what is happening around you,

Be the best you can be.

And I know these are challenging times for so many people,

So that's why it is so important to take a few moments every day to center yourself,

Get in touch with your breath.

You can even use it as a way to pray.

However it resonates for you is exactly right for you.

So before we go any further,

Let's prepare for meditation.

I invite you to get into a comfortable position because that's the most important thing during meditation is to be very comfortable in a seated position.

Right now I'm in a straight back chair.

I have my feet fully planted on the ground.

I have my palms facing up and nothing crossed.

That's the way I'm choosing to meditate today.

There are days that I sit cross-legged in my bed leaning up against my my bedpost,

My headboard.

There's days I do it laying down.

You can sit in the lotus position.

Whatever works for you in making you comfortable.

That's the most important thing.

You want to make sure all your devices are turned off.

This is your time and consider it a sacred time.

So certainly take time when you have the time to do this meditation.

You want to put a big do not disturb sign wherever you're doing it and just focus on relaxing and devoting this time to you.

You really deserve this time.

So let's get started now with taking some nice deep breaths and when we inhale we're going to focus on belly breathing.

So if you'd like to make sure your breath is going that deep you can take your palms of your hands onto your belly so that the fingertips are touching and let's begin by taking a deep breath to the count of four.

We're going to hold for the count of four and then exhale for the count of four and hold for the count of four and this is called box breath and this automatically begins to relax everything.

So let's begin inhale one two three four hold two three four exhale two three four hold two three four again inhale one two three four hold one two three four exhale one two three four hold one two three four again inhale one two three four hold two three four exhale two three four hold two three four one last time inhale one two three four hold one two three four exhale one two three four hold one two three four.

You should be beginning to feel very relaxed and at ease.

I invite you now to do a quick body scan starting at the bottom of your feet and if you feel comfortable gently closing your eyes and if not a very soft gaze.

So beginning with the bottom of your feet we're going to ground now to keep you safe and secure throughout this meditation and visualize two roots growing from the bottom of your feet.

Feel them grow through the floor of the room that you're in through the level that's lowest until your roots enter the very top of mother earth and I am going to be using what I am seeing right now to help you ground.

So when I look outside I am seeing water full of incredible icebergs big and small and the water where the icebergs are is this incredible blue color.

So just picture this as you see your roots now going into the water and going deep deep deep until your roots enter the very center of mother earth.

Feel the security here and ask mother earth at this time if you can get rid of any toxic energy any negative energy you might be holding on to and as you release this energy mother earth agrees to take it and transmute it into positive energy.

So feel yourself again from the bottom of your feet to your calves to your thighs relax and begin to release this energy.

As you're doing so we'll pause a moment here and ask yourself where could these negative energies be coming from?

Is there something that you're thinking that isn't serving you?

Are there people in your life that might need to be released?

What is it right now that you could use to transmute your negative energy into positive energy?

Feel it now draining into mother earth as we pause for a moment.

Feel the energy now moving up your back and feel the muscles there relaxing as the positive energy from mother earth now enters the bottom of your feet and moves up into your lower back.

All the muscles there relax and let go your buttocks let go your abdomen let's go and feel now this sublime peaceful energy from the antarctic waters move up the spine each bone in the spine relaxes the organs around the pancreas the stomach the intestines everything is washed and renewed with this clear cleansing water.

Feel now the energy move up into the shoulders feel the shoulders sag your biceps triceps all 10 fingers and feel the palms of your hands activate with this antarctic unspoiled energy unspoiled water.

Feel this energy move into the neck move into the face as all the muscles now from the face to the neck to the back to your legs release and let go.

You feel fully engulfed in peace and in serenity.

Feel now this energy move through the mind and again reminding ourselves that our minds may wander because that's what minds do but when they do we're going to bring our minds back to this positive blissful energy.

Let's take a moment now to create an affirmation a positive thought that you can use when you feel any type of negative energy really messing with your peace and serenity.

What is an affirmation that you can use suggesting i am well in all circumstances i am safe i am loved i love allow an affirmation to come to you in the present tense as if this is your reality now and this will be an affirmation you will bring with you so that when you find your peace being disrupted you can go to this affirmation.

I'll give you a moment now to set an affirmation.

The energy that began at the very center of mother earth now exits the top of your head and you are a bridge between mother earth and father sky knowing that you are secure and safe throughout this meditation.

Join me now in this visualization.

I am passing by small icebergs all different shapes all different sizes some of them are deep blue in color because the ice is so compacted the snow is gently falling lending to the serenity of the scene i embrace the peace that i feel inhale and exhale as the journey continues i notice a humpback whale in the distance if i didn't know better i would think it's just a log as these whales rest in a position called logging but as we approach the whale i notice air blowing and the flip of a tail saying hello i am here i am reminding you to be present i am reminding you to be joyful i am reminding you to connect with your source remembering that you are connected to every living thing on this planet feel the connection the whale reminds us feel your strength feel your power feel the fact that nothing is impossible for you the water is very calm and you can feel the peace in every cell of your body you see snow covered mountains high low in shapes that are almost impossible to comprehend they are otherworldly and as you stand outside and watch this vision passing you you are bundled up you are warm and again you feel safe and secure the little icebergs that are floating by remind you of all the different fragments in your own life all the ways you try and pull yourself together and the things that you remember are that there are some things in your life that you can control and other things that you can't control so as you see all of these small icebergs floating by you it reminds you to go with the flow it reminds you that there is only so much that you can control in your life and the most important thing to remember is the only thing that you can control is your reaction to things so all the fragments that might be in your life right now what would be a way that you could pull these fragments together to simplify your life how now can you bring the fragments of your concerns your worries your to-do lists how can you bring these fragments together so that you are able to live in a more peaceful place and as we're slowly cruising by all of these visions i want you to take a moment to catalog the things that disturb your peace remember the affirmation you just created and take a moment now to use that as a mantra as you think of the ways you can simplify your life so that you live in the most peaceful place that you can possibly live in at this moment a whale surfaces in the distance again reminding you the power of your breath that it is always available to relax you to decrease your anxiety and to bring you in the present moment the present moment your place of power the water is impossibly smooth and these small icebergs pass you by you marvel at the beauty you marvel at what created these wonderful things for you to enjoy absolutely beautiful you feel yourself again absorbing all the peace of this unspoiled land you are relaxed from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head you are connected to source to divinity to the universe to god whatever name you choose you are connected and you can feel this light feel this healing energy in every cell in your body you are at complete peace you are at complete serenity you are an awesome person take a deep breath here and exhale i want to now slowly bring you back into your physical surroundings your present moment but i'd like you to resume this peaceful feeling that you got from this antarctic experience feel it again in every cell of your body and know that you can return to the whale anytime you choose the whale reminding you that you can connect to the fifth dimension that you can connect to your intuition and get all the information that you need to live your best life a life of joy and a life of peace slowly wiggle your fingers wiggle your toes bringing sensation back into the body bring the shoulders up to the ears and let them go and again up to the ears and let them go and bring any movement back into your body that you feel like you could use now a big stretch whatever feels good to you and when you're done open your eyes if they were closed and come fully back into the room i trust you enjoyed that meditation when i saw this scenery i knew this was something that i had to share with you so thank you so much for joining me and until we meet again happy sailing and namaste
