Good morning,
Namaste and welcome to your gratitude meditation.
I am Sana and I am so grateful that you chose me to be your guide this morning.
You can do this practice from the comfort of your bed,
Laying down or seated in a comfortable position.
Let's take a moment to first connect with our breath and bring our awareness to it.
Breathe in deeply to feel the cool air filling up your lungs with love and breathe out through your mouth,
H-A-HA.
Take a deep breath in and think about all the blessings in your life that provide you comfort and joy and breathe out the feeling of lack,
If any.
With the next inhale in,
I now invite you to gently close your eyes and drop back into your regular breath.
Take a moment to begin this practice with expressing gratitude for the bed you're laying or sitting in right now.
Thanking it for supporting you while you sleep comfortably and peacefully through the night.
Repeat in your mind,
I am thankful for this bed.
With every I am thankful statement,
I want you to imagine your heart opening up with appreciation and letting it flood with gratitude,
Keeping your awareness in your heart center throughout this practice.
I am thankful.
I am thankful for this home that provides me with shelter and protects me from the chaos of the outside world.
I am thankful to be able to call this place my home.
I am thankful.
I am thankful for the delicious food I am provided with daily.
The food that nourishes my body keeps me healthy and vitalized.
I am thankful.
I am thankful for the clean water I drink that hydrates my body to keep it functioning optimally.
I am thankful.
I am thankful for the air I breathe in that fills my lungs up with oxygen and life force energy which flows through every cell in my body.
I am thankful.
I am thankful for being alive to experience a beautiful new day that lies ahead of me which brings with it infinite possibilities and blessings that await me.
I am thankful.
I am thankful for my friends and family and all the good people in my life who love and support me.
I am thankful.
Imagine your heart center opening up even wider and a bright white light emitting through it filling up the room with its magnificent glow encompassing your entire body from head to toe.
You are now a glowing light of gratitude.
Take this light with you through your day.
In your heart every time you come across something you can be grateful for.
With that thought in mind I want you to slowly bring your awareness back into your body.
Take a deep breath in and with a slow and controlled exhale slowly open your eyes.
Look around your room and notice the shift in energy that you feel.
With this gratitude mindset I encourage you to take a note of at least three things throughout your day that you can be grateful for.
Come back to this meditation every morning so you start your day with a gratitude mindset.
Have a blessed day.
Namaste.
