Welcome to your mala activation meditation.
Finding a comfortable seat with your mala beads,
Perhaps creating a special space for yourself to initiate your relationship with your mala beads,
With your intention.
Once you find your seat,
Find your space and find your mala beads,
Could you bring them into your non-dominant hand.
Having the guru bead inward of the hand,
The first bead resting on your middle finger,
So the pointer finger doesn't touch the mala beads because it's said that the pointer finger is the finger of the ego.
And when we meditate with the mala beads we're just going to pull them one at a time with each breath,
Mantra repetition,
Intention repetition,
Affirmation repetition,
Whatever it is you're working with.
We'll pull one at a time with our thumb towards us,
So we're pulling the energy of our intention towards us.
So when you're ready,
Taking a moment just to gaze at your mala beads,
Acknowledging this creation,
This sacred tool that's made its way into your life to support you.
Maybe you hold the mala beads to your heart space,
Sending love and gratitude to them.
As you do that you could close down the eyes and begin to notice your breath.
And then just bringing your intention,
Your mantra,
Your sankalpa to your awareness.
If you don't have one you could just inhale and exhale with every pull of the bead towards you.
Wherever you are with whatever you have could you drop it into your heart space,
Feeling the breath flood and awaken your intention.
And then when you're ready bringing the mala beads down into your lap and beginning your mantra meditation.
Breathing in and out and perhaps repeating your mantra out loud or inwardly and then pulling that bead towards you.
With every breath repeating your mantra,
Your intention as you pull the bead towards you.
Threading,
Weaving your intention throughout this beautiful,
Sacred tool.
Feeling that with every repetition this intention is being amplified,
Being drawn towards you and from within you.
Remembering that crystals and these sacred tools just illuminate what's already within us.
So we're simply bringing our awareness,
Our focus onto that energy and inviting more of that to be uncovered,
To rise to the surface,
To be present in our lives.
Continuing to breathe naturally and pulling each bead towards you with every repetition of your prayer.
Feeling this prayer in your bones,
In your body.
Feeling yourself build this relationship with this beautiful tool that you have in your hands.
Not only you threading your intention into these beads,
This creation,
This sacred tool,
But it working with you.
Weaving together,
Working together.
Anytime the mind wanders just bringing your awareness back to the beads in your hand,
To your intention.
Repeating it with every bead,
Allowing the breath to pulse naturally.
Activating,
Initiating your relationship with this new tool,
These beautiful mala beads that have met you in your life at this time.
They can support you with invoking,
Remembering your intention,
Your mantras,
Your sankalpa.
Anchoring that into your experience of life.
Reciting your intention with every bead.
Anytime the mind wanders bringing your awareness back to the beads in your hand.
The intention moving towards you.
Your natural breath.
Feeling your intention and the energy of your mala beads awaken in your experience from within you and all around you.
Feeling them blend together,
Weave together,
Dance together.
Continuing this process until you reach your 108th bead.

Holding your mala beads once again close to your heart,
Knowing that there's no rush.
