Welcome.
In this guided meditation,
We are going to use our breath to cultivate self-love,
Kindness,
And compassion.
How you treat,
Talk to,
And think about yourself sets the basis and foundation for your relationships,
Your friendships,
Careers,
Outlook on life,
And so much more.
Everyone deserves more love,
Compassion,
And kindness.
So let's cultivate that now.
To begin,
Settle into a position that's comfortable for your body,
Whether that's sitting,
Laying down.
Get comfortable in your body.
And when you find that shape,
That comfortable place,
Either close your eyes or find a soft gaze and breathe.
And often when we try to get still,
Our mind will start going a million miles an hour.
It's what the mind does.
This is normal.
Let the mind go and come back to the breath and just breathe and start to focus your attention on the surface beneath you.
Whether that is a chair,
The floor,
A bed,
A yoga mat,
Or wherever you're at,
Feel the support underneath your body and breathe.
Breathe your normal breath.
And wherever you are,
Sense the energy of the space that you're in and feel that energy supporting you.
Feel connected to the energy.
Feel the surface that you are on holding you and supporting you,
Connecting with you.
If there are any objects in the room,
Notice those,
Feel those,
And feel supported by them.
If you are outdoors,
Feel nature supporting you and breathe,
Breathe it all in.
And start to take some longer inhales and longer exhales in any way that feels supported for you,
Whether that's in through your nose or out through your mouth or any combination of an inhale or an exhale that feels good to you.
Just make the inhale a little bit longer and deeper and the exhale a little bit longer and deeper.
And in each exhale,
Imagine that any thoughts that are in your mind are leaving it,
Simply falling away and breathe.
And let's continue to notice the natural flow of your breath for a few moments in silence.
And just allow your breath to flow at its own depth and pace.
Breathing in and breathing out.
The mind comes in and gets distracted.
Let it go and come back to your breath.
Every breath we take supports your body,
Supports your life.
And so essentially each breath is an act of love.
So I invite you to keep breathing,
Letting each breath be an offering of love to your body,
To your mind and your soul.
And just breathe.
As you inhale,
Feel a sense of love,
Compassion and kindness growing inside of you.
And let each exhale help to release thoughts from your thinking mind and any tension you might be holding in your body.
Let each breath fill you with love,
Self-compassion and kindness.
And with our breath,
We're going to start to breathe in affirmations and breathe out affirmations.
So on the inhale,
Repeat,
I fill myself with love.
And on the exhale,
I breathe out love.
Inhale,
I fill myself with compassion and exhale.
I breathe out compassion.
Inhale,
I fill myself with kindness and exhale.
I breathe out kindness.
Continue to repeat that.
Inhaling,
I fill myself with love and exhaling.
I breathe out love.
Inhaling,
I fill myself with compassion and exhaling.
I breathe out compassion.
Inhaling,
I fill myself with kindness and breathe out kindness.
Continue to sense into the energy of love,
Compassion and kindness that fills you.
It fills you from the inside and from the outside.
Stay here for a little while longer.
And if your mind starts to wander,
Come back to the flow of your breath.
Breathing in love,
Breathing out love.
Breathing in compassion,
Breathing out compassion.
Breathing in kindness,
Breathing out kindness.
Breathing in love,
Breathing out love.
Breathing in compassion,
Breathing out compassion.
Breathing in kindness,
Breathing out kindness.
Continue to breathe into this loving breath for a few more moments.
The mind gets distracted,
Come back to the breath.
You are breathing in love and breathing out love.
You are breathing in compassion and breathing out compassion.
You are breathing in kindness and breathing out kindness.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
One more deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Start to notice the surface supporting you again.
Start to reconnect with your physical body by slightly moving.
Maybe wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
And breathe.
Start to open your eyes or fully open your eyes if you had a soft gaze and look around where you are at giving some thanks for all of the support.
You are loved beyond measure.
Let this meditation,
This love,
This compassion and this kindness go with you the rest of this day.
You can come back to this breath,
This compassion,
This love,
This kindness at any point in the day.
Deep breath in and out.
