Hello,
Love,
And welcome to your Mirror Work Guided Activation.
This activation is going to be broken up into two parts.
Before we actually get to the Mirror Work,
I am going to support you in choosing a personalized affirmation for yourself that most resonates with the cells of your being,
Your lived experience,
The emotions that are held within your being.
And as you move through the Mirror Work,
I will also provide guided affirmations to support you in deepening the relationship you have with yourself,
Deepening the level of trust you hold within your body,
And the unfolding divine plan of your life.
So before we begin,
You do need a few items.
Not only do you need yourself,
But you also need a quiet room with a door,
Preferably that you can really close out the outside world and feel safe to be vulnerable.
This exercise can bring up a lot,
So I really want you to have a safe,
Quiet,
Uninterrupted space.
If you can,
No dogs,
No babies,
No children,
No distractions.
You with you.
You're also going to need a mirror,
And preferably a mirror that you're not holding.
This can be in the bathroom,
This can be in your room,
But preferably a mirror that you're not having to hold so you can fully relax and be present.
Once you've collected all those items,
Setting up your space,
We are going to start by dropping into the heart,
Dropping into the body,
And choosing your personalized affirmation.
Let's begin.
Start by finding a comfortable seat,
Whether you're on your bed,
You're on a chair,
Or on the floor,
And taking a moment to allow the weight of your seat to be fully supported by the surface beneath you.
Taking a moment to close down the eyes with the intention of going down and into the heart,
The portal of truth.
Start by deepening the breath,
Inhaling from the root,
From this seat,
Your foundation,
Allowing this breath to travel up the spine,
Entering the heart,
Penetrating the heart.
As you hold the breath at the top,
Expanding through the heart center with the mouth closed,
Exhale through the nose,
Sending this breath back down.
And as you inhale,
Inhale,
Peeling back another layer,
Cracking the heart open,
Holding at the top as you open up through the heart center.
And as you exhale,
Sending the breath down and in the heart,
Descending into this portal of truth,
Your truth,
Exhale,
Inhale,
Deepest breath,
Exhale,
Going down and in,
Continuing with this breath,
Inhaling,
Feeling a lightness,
Feeling a newness,
An opening,
Holding for a moment at the top.
And as you exhale,
Focusing on sending this breath down and through the heart,
Descending deeper and deeper into your internal world,
Holding for a moment at the bottom,
Completely emptied out,
Beginning to notice any sensations that are alive right now within your experience.
Noticing any sensations in the womb,
The belly,
The solar plexus,
Noticing any heaviness or any sensation of contraction in and around the heart,
Any tension around the shoulders and neck,
What sensations are present for you now?
Taking a moment to return to the breath,
Staying connected to the breath,
Moving in and out of both nostrils.
And on your next inhalation,
Placing your left hand over your chest,
The right hand on top,
As you feel the skin of your palms on the skin of your chest,
Or maybe on the top of your clothing.
Feeling this touch,
The warmth of your hands,
Or maybe the coolness of your hands.
Inhaling into your hands,
Exhaling,
Taking a moment to ask yourself,
What do you need right now?
What do you need right now?
Simply listening to the answer,
Being mindful to not overcomplicate the answer,
But simply receive,
Simply listen,
Lean in,
Make yourself available to hear the answer.
What do you need right now?
And as you receive this answer,
Taking a moment to send love to yourself,
Acknowledging this need and reminding yourself that you have your back,
And you will utilize this need,
This answer,
As your affirmation for the mirror work that we will be moving into.
On your next exhalation,
Releasing the hands back down to the knees,
Continuing to stay present to the breath flowing in and out of both nostrils.
Taking a few last moments here to take this answer that you received.
It might not make sense.
It might not make logical sense,
And that's perfectly okay.
How can you take this answer,
What you need,
And turn it into an affirmation?
Maybe the answer was that you need love,
You need acknowledgement,
You need rest,
You need peace.
How can you take this need and turn it into a personalized affirmation that lights up your entire being,
That really speaks to the core of you?
Take just a few moments.
You can have your eyes closed down,
Or maybe now you open your eyes,
And take a few moments here to solidify one affirmation that's based on this need.
Once you have this affirmation,
Choose it,
Run with it,
Declare it,
And let's go.
Now we are going to turn towards our mirror.
And before we get into the mirror work exercise,
I want to start by sharing,
This is very vulnerable work.
In fact,
This might be the deepest,
Most vulnerable work that you do with yourself.
It's you with you.
And we're so used to looking into a mirror to see what we look like,
To see what might need to be fixed or corrected.
How does our clothing look?
How does our face look?
Do we need to apply makeup?
What can we change?
And you are going to have an opportunity through this guided activation to meet yourself as you are.
So over the next few minutes,
As you're moving through the mirror work,
My only request is that you remain open,
Noticing any sense of wanting to contract,
Wanting to get distracted,
Wanting to turn away,
And give yourself the gift of your own presence,
Your own grace,
Your own acceptance.
Because at the core of who you are,
That's ultimately all you want.
Allowing the tears to fall,
Allowing the uncomfortable sensations to exist without you making it mean anything about you.
Deal?
Perfect.
Let's begin.
First,
You are going to set your mirror up,
Finding a seat right in front of your mirror,
And begin by meeting your own gaze,
Beginning to stare into the mirror at yourself.
Simply observe,
Simply notice,
And be present.
Can you be intimately present with yourself?
And as you meet your own gaze,
Notice the immediate thoughts that arise.
For these are the same thoughts,
Judgments,
Concerns that show up anytime you are intimately attempting to meet your partner,
Anytime you are pushed outside of your comfort zone,
Anytime you are asked to be vulnerable.
Notice what's arising.
Taking a deep breath,
Exhale.
And as you exhale,
Physically lean in,
Looking a little bit deeper,
Acknowledging any sensations that are shifting or arising,
Acknowledging any discomfort,
And simply holding it,
Being present despite of it,
Leaning in,
Meeting your own gaze,
Staying with the breath,
And starting by saying out loud,
Not inside your mind,
But actually using the vibration of your voice,
I love and accept you.
I love and accept you.
I love and accept you.
Beginning to hold a dual awareness to you speaking these words to you and also to any sensations of resistance or rejection that show up in the body,
Take a moment to send love to that area.
Maybe it's your chest,
Maybe it's your belly,
Maybe it's your mind.
Send love,
Soften around the edges,
Inhale,
Exhale.
I love and accept you.
I love and accept you.
I love and accept you.
Continuing to hold this gaze as much as you might want to look away,
Get distracted,
Do anything else but this,
Can you meet yourself here?
Now you are going to bring in your own personal affirmation,
And you're going to repeat it three times.
Keep it simple,
Keep it direct,
Keep it authentic.
Repeat the affirmation three times now,
Owning your gaze,
Receiving yourself,
Receiving these words.
Stay present,
Continuing to hold this gaze,
Repeating three more times,
Inhaling,
Exhaling.
At this point,
If you feel like you want to move your hands,
Maybe you bring your hands to your belly,
Or you place one hand over the heart,
One hand over the womb,
Just hold yourself here.
Maybe wrapping yourself in your arms and giving yourself a hug while holding the gaze in the mirror,
Intimately meeting yourself right where you are,
Without fixing,
Without changing,
Without judging,
Without making anything wrong.
I trust myself.
I trust myself.
Repeating the affirmation,
I trust myself.
I trust myself.
I have my own back.
I am here to serve my life,
To serve myself.
I trust myself.
Continuing to gaze deep into the mirror,
Repeating the affirmation,
I trust you.
I trust you.
I trust you.
I trust you.
I trust you.
Repeating 10 times,
15 times,
Continuing to hold the gaze,
Speaking with conviction and honesty.
I trust you.
I trust you.
I trust you.
Inhaling once more,
Deep into the heart,
Exhaling.
And as we close out this session,
Wherever your hands are with a flat palm,
Begin rubbing your palms as you're still with yourself in the mirror,
Begin rubbing your palms all over your body,
Slowly caressing your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your belly,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Moving presently,
Moving slowly.
As you take these last few moments with yourself,
Notice what's arising,
Allowing any resistance to live,
As you stay present to your desire to deepen your trust,
To deepen the connection you have with yourself,
And to simply love you.
With every caress,
With every touch,
You are sending love to your body,
You're sending love to yourselves.
You are anchoring in these words as your truth.
Whenever you feel complete,
You can bring your hands to stillness,
Still holding this gaze.
And if any last words or any last gestures or movements or kisses or anything wants to come through right now,
Take a few last moments here with yourself.
And on this last deep breath,
Bringing your hands into prayer position in front of the heart,
And on your next inhalation,
Inhaling the prayer hands to your third eye,
Bowing the head down in front of the mirror,
Bowing to yourself,
Deeply honoring who you are today for showing up to this work,
For being exactly who you are,
Who God designed you to be,
For being brave and for being bold in going forward into this deep transformation and awakening to pave a new path for future generations.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Bringing your hands back to the heart center,
Allowing a smile to wash over your face as you stare at your own smile.
There might be wrinkles on your face as you smile.
Can you appreciate the life that you live,
That you've lived,
That is living through you,
The joy and the pleasure and the memories that you have created and have yet to create?
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you for being here.
Please return to this guidance anytime you feel that you want to drop back into yourself,
Connect deeply and cultivate inner trust,
A relationship of trust with yourself.
For now,
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Namaste.
I will see you on the other side.
