Good morning.
Today we will welcome the day and focus our energies on being aligned,
Patient,
And kind.
So wherever you are,
Whether you are still in bed,
Lying down,
Or if you've gotten up,
Settle into your meditation position,
Making yourself comfortable with your spine elongated,
Allowing the energy to flow,
Your eyelids heavy as your breath deepens,
Feeling the gravity holding you in place,
Feeling your muscles relaxing and heavy as we begin our breathing,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Following your breath in and out,
Allowing your mind to quiet,
Following each inhale and following the exhale,
Inhaling,
Exhaling,
Follow your breath for a bit here,
Finding this moment of quiet,
To think of something you are grateful for,
Practicing gratitude opens your heart,
Feeling this gratitude for whatever it is,
As simple as the comfort of your bed,
Or the first sip of coffee in the morning,
Or maybe simply of being awake and alive,
Whatever this is that you're grateful for,
Feel the gratitude in your heart,
Maybe it brings a smile to your face,
And allowing this energy of gratitude to bloom within you,
Allowing it to fill your heart and mind,
Allowing that beam of gratitude to fill you up,
Following that feeling of gratitude,
Letting this gratitude sit there in the background as you think of kindness,
And thinking of what kindness means to you,
And how it feels,
How can you be kind today,
Can you speak more kindly to yourself,
Can you be kinder to others,
As you go about your day,
Are there moments where a smile or a thank you,
Or a small fleeting connection with someone else,
To a loved one or a stranger,
Or to yourself,
And perhaps gratitude and kindness are linked together,
Thinking of kindness,
Thinking of how you can be kind today,
Feeling that kindness we've cultivated radiating from you,
And inhaling deep into your belly,
And exhaling slowly,
Envisioning this kindness flowing throughout your day,
To others,
To the world,
To yourself,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Thinking of kindness,
And how we all need a bit more of it,
Now following this trail of kindness,
Thinking of patience,
What is patience,
How can we offer more patience to the world today,
To ourselves,
Do we need to rush,
Do we need to feel on edge if things are slower,
Or if minor hiccups happen,
Can we see how kindness and gratitude are related to patience,
How can we offer patience to ourselves,
To the world,
Can we breathe into it,
Can we focus on our breath,
How can you practice more patience today,
Can you give yourself more time,
Can you give others more time,
Can you give yourself grace,
Can you breathe,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Allowing patience to flow through your day,
Practicing kindness and patience,
Allowing our breath and bodies to align with ourselves,
How does it feel if we are more patient,
If we are more kind today,
How does this align with our best selves,
How can you be more aligned today,
How can your actions match your intentions,
How can your words match your actions,
Taking a deep breath in to your belly and exhaling out,
Allowing yourself to feel aligned with ease,
To feel alignment with who you want to be,
Centering and envisioning your best self,
Can you align with your best self today,
Trusting in you,
Trusting that you know your path,
That you are aligned and on the right path,
Full of ease,
And this path is full of patience and kindness and gratitude,
Alignment happens with your breath,
Breathing as you feel all of this alignment,
Everything aligning,
Maybe just for today,
Maybe for the future,
Feel this alignment,
Breathing into your heart space and deep into your belly and exhaling,
Feeling your kindness fill yourself up,
Feeling the patience you have cultivated today,
Feeling aligned and grateful,
Now bring your attention back to your breath,
Deepening it and then bringing your attention back to your body,
Feeling the surface beneath you,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Bringing your attention slowly back to the room where you are,
Remembering the feeling of patience,
The feeling of kindness,
The feeling of alignment,
All of this that you've cultivated for your day and whenever you'd like,
You can open your eyes to a beautiful new day,
