Hello and welcome back to the 20 day meditation challenge.
Today we are moving on to day seven.
Congratulations you have completed one whole week of meditations.
Today's meditation is going to be about journeying deeper to our rooted limiting beliefs.
So yesterday we unburdened ourselves with any current concerns,
Problems,
Resentments and judgments we may be facing and experiencing.
Today we're going to take that deeper into the subconscious so we can start unearthing and removing the root of our limiting beliefs that we have placed on ourselves without us even being aware of it.
So when you're ready to go ahead and set up your space,
Pause the recording if you need to let yourself close the door,
Set up the room.
And when you're ready,
We'll begin.
So closing down your physical eyes,
Bring your awareness to the crown of your head.
Feel,
Sense or pretend warm honey pouring over the crown of your head.
And feeling this golden honey start to melt down.
And as it melts and travels down from the crown of your head,
Beginning to soften,
Release,
And relax all the muscles,
The crown of the head,
The face,
Relaxing the muscles of the neck,
The shoulders.
And seeing this warm golden honey pouring down the arms,
The chest,
The back.
And softening,
Relaxing,
And releasing.
Feeling this warm golden honey melting down the abdomen,
The upper back,
Mid back,
And lower back.
Seeing it wrapping and melting around the glutes and the pelvic bowl.
And just seeing it soften,
Relax,
And release all the muscles it comes in contact with.
And seeing this warm honey pouring down the legs,
Over the ankles,
And over the feet.
Just softening,
Relaxing all the muscles,
The lower body.
And relaxed.
And visualize yourself standing in a forest.
The evening sun is in the sky.
And you can see it starting to dip behind a mountain.
You look around at the forest.
The golden glow of the setting sun illuminating the branches,
The shrubs,
The grass.
You hear birds singing their evening songs.
The outside world fading away.
And this time for you in the forest.
For peace,
Introspection,
And calm.
You watch the sun set behind the mountain.
And a cool white silver light illuminates the treetops.
You look behind you to see a full moon rising in the distance.
As the moon reaches its peak,
A path illuminates in an iridescent glow into the forest in front of you.
As you walk forward down the illuminated path,
You see a warm orange glow.
Up ahead,
A large campfire is billowing up towards the sky in a clearing amongst the trees.
You arrive at the campfire.
And take a seat on a bench.
You notice the fire is surrounded by more benches and stumps and wooden chairs ready for a gathering.
And as you gaze into the fire,
You are transported back to childhood.
You see the little version of yourself running,
Playing,
Exploring.
And then a memory arises where you felt ashamed.
A time when you were scolded or made to feel as if you had done something wrong.
You replay this memory,
Watching yourself,
The little version of you experience this.
You pause the memory,
And walk over to your younger self.
You are good enough,
You tell the younger version of you.
I love you and none of this was your fault.
You are just a child.
This moment does not need to define a belief system for us.
I am here now.
I see you.
I love you.
Share with me how this experience made you feel.
What did this experience make you believe to be true?
The younger version of you speaks.
You kneel down and listen.
I am here now,
You say.
And I promise you,
You are good enough.
You are worthy of love,
Joy,
Abundance,
Kindness,
Compassion,
And grace.
And ask this younger version,
What they need from you in this moment.
Perhaps it is love,
A hug,
Perhaps to hold their hand,
To be seen.
Give this younger version of you what they needed in this moment.
And then asking them if they would like to stay here in this new healed version of the memory,
Or if they would like to live in your heart space,
Or perhaps somewhere else magical they desire to be.
Wherever they have chosen,
Guide them to that space,
And tell them you will be back to connect with them whenever they need you.
You place your left hand on your heart,
Holding this younger version of you,
Your inner child,
With such love and compassion.
You see yourself back at the fire in the woods,
Allowing the heat and the flame to cleanse away any other limiting beliefs from this memory.
Perhaps the tears fall from your eyes as you hold that vision of your inner child,
Held and supported by your heart.
You start to bring your awareness back to your breathing,
Becoming aware of your physical body,
And when you come up,
Journaling about the belief that you are a part of this new body,
That was instilled in you when you were a child and felt ashamed,
Embarrassed,
Or pain,
And writing a positive version of that belief beside it.
Repeating that positive belief to yourself,
Three times,
And any time that limiting belief surfaces again.
Coming up when you're ready,
And I'll see you tomorrow.
