Another day for another day to come back to the practice and for everyone to be receptive and open to the transmission in a relaxed and open and sort of positive way.

It's very difficult to remain positive about everything.

In the last few days due to the perhaps planetary constellations and the many things going on around us,

I've had a lot of emails and communications in different formats about the intensity of the situations that we have to face and the difficulties and challenges that those situations then create for us and how it's difficult to remain positive in such situations.

And of course the mind always wants to get there before anything else and even if positivity isn't really a concept,

The mind is chasing that concept and trying to get there and as soon as we understand that whatever it is that is happening doesn't fit into that concept,

So we have a picture in our minds that create an expectation or a belief system or just a want,

A desire,

A need to fit into that picture that's being created and if that doesn't happen,

The intensity of the moment can create reactivity.

So instead of the picture becoming a beautiful goal that we sort of reach out for and we have an orientation and an understanding of how to reach out for such a goal,

The limbic brain which is the reactive part of the brain reacts because we're not reaching out for that ideal picture that is there.

So the reactive,

The reactive within us,

The reactive mind,

The reactive body,

The reactive impulses that create all sorts of reactions then are very much in control of the situation rather than detachment where we are able to step back and communicate directly from within the space of wisdom where we're not really attached to the picture that's being created by the mind,

This sort of impulse that the limbic brain is pushing us to get to reach out for or immediately experience that sort of instant gratification expectation that the limbic brain and the impulses that are pushing us in this way expect as an experience.

Right now the limbic brain expects that you experience that picture that your mind is focused upon.

So if the mind is focused upon a picture because that picture somehow is a desire or an attachment to an idea,

For example an idea that will make you happier or make you feel better or an idea that will push aside the pain and suffering that you're facing and somehow make things better,

If that idea is the driving force so the attachment to the consequence of the idea is what is sort of making you do certain things or plan your life or put your energy and focus into certain things that are happening around you if the idea is the driving force and you lose this connection to awareness because then our awareness is no longer really present to the moment it's present to the idea so you lose contact with this awareness and the impulses that are very powerful that are there present in your experience of the situation the goal isn't being met or that picture is not exactly the picture that I have in my mind or this situation isn't what I want I don't like it I don't want it I want to change all these sort of I wants which create all sorts of interesting attachments to more I wants you know if you want something then it's not enough to want just one thing you want many other things it's not enough to want to be healthy you want to be healthy happy prosperous this that and everything else which is fine but if that expectation is triggering your limbic brain to create sorts of all sorts of impulses that sort of drive you that that are your that that drives you and is the essence of your driving force you know that that's what is making you do things and making you think in certain ways and making you feel and making you react and act and communicate in certain ways if that is the driving force that is there within your awareness then your awareness is driven by that driving force which has nothing to do with this present moment but very much to do with the picture that you've created which is a type of dualism really if you think about it it's a picture that you've created simply because you want something you desire something you need something and you haven't really thought about what you want but you simply react to the situation and you create this picture of what you want which usually comes from your past or usually comes from your future doesn't come from the present moment communicating and being in touch with the present moment and what's happening in the present moment it's it's a picture oh I don't like this so I want this and my mind has thought about this the pattern of thinking that the mind has is usually a pattern of thinking where we fall back into habits the mind is comfortable thinking about the things it understands the things that it's thought about before that you've sort of visualized or thought about due to past experiences or due to future expectations and so the mind is comfortable with falling into that pattern or into that space which is a type of dualism because you're chasing a picture that has really nothing to do with the experience as it is in this moment which is what awareness means awareness means that you're in touch with this moment with the situation you're in touch with your body what's happening to your body right now but if you won't be in touch with your body if you are reacting to impulses because your body will somehow have to wait because the attention and energy that you're putting into your focus is not really it has not nothing to do with this present moment and you're in the the information that your body is transmitting in this present moment has to do with the impulses that are pushing you to think and to feel and to experience the world in a certain way that the mind is comfortable and happy to fall back into that picture that I'm speaking about whether it be a belief system or whether it be some sort of socialization or whether it be neurosis or whether it be dysfunction or whether it be just ways of doing things that you know won't really change anything you know sometimes we know that certain things that we do really don't address the situation we know that for example being grumpy or being negative or you know getting lost in in the suffering won't really help the situation yet we use up a lot of our energies and our focus and our attention falling back into that habit and we somehow fall back into that habit with through ignorance but still we have no idea how to get out of it once we're in there so the habit that is driving your sort of thinking mechanism is very different from your awareness of the situation so the driving force whatever that may be whether it be for example a trauma or a pain and which then becomes very very powerful in itself simply because it's not conscious you know sometimes these impulses that are driving us come from a deeper perspective we're not even aware you know we just all of a sudden get irritated we don't know why we're getting irritated it's not like we're irritated because it's obvious we haven't eaten for say six seven hours and we're hungry so that irritation we can relate to hunger it's just sometimes difficult to understand why certain things create habits and why those habits then create a driving force that becomes very very relevant in the way that we're doing things in life you know right in this moment in the way that we think the way that we feel the way that we relate our body the way that we relate other people the way that we relate to the communication within ourselves or the communication that happens outside of ourselves if driven by a picture our attachment to a picture or a habit rather than through this wisdom or awareness that is meditation or if driven by an impulse that is very much anchored in a habit or a belief system rather than the understanding and trust that happens when you are in touch with this moment and of course everything begins to become as intense as what many of these people that have been writing to me are communicating and there is you know there is no need to feel guilty or bad or like you know it's this sort of school and you failed you in your grades don't meet your expectations there is no need to put yourself down or to feel that these situations are unique to yourself it's a very it's a very human thing to experience life from a belief system or from picture in the mind that can often be called dysfunctional it's very very normal and this is why we have a world that is in the sort of state that we hear about through the news and in this sort of state that doesn't really address relevant questions you know we're not addressing questions that could help humanity transcend the general suffering that we are all facing today we're addressing questions that seem irrelevant in in the perspective of life you know we're addressing things that really tomorrow we'll forget all about we'll forget all about the little things that the mind is preoccupied with today you know it's like listening to the news you know if you ask someone you know you remember the news from a week ago it's like a blur it's irrelevant but if you ask that same person you know what what what is the most important thing in your life right now you know it will be relevant and they will say ah the most important thing in my life right now is to practice meditation or the most important thing in my life right now is to make a lot of money so that I can buy happiness or whatever there will be a certain awareness of what we're doing what why we're here in this world that then becomes very relevant in the communication but if we look at all the little things that are happening around us that we give a lot of time and energy to these little things don't mean anything really if we look at it from the perspective of detachment meaning that if you could step out of the space where the limbic brain is driving you to react in a certain way to get caught by the situation and react in a certain way if we were able to distance or detach ourselves from this driving force and come back to acknowledging the wisdom within this means just connecting to the space of the heart a heartfelt connection to the world is very different from an impulsive reactive connection to the world if we are able to do this transit if we are able to move or transcend the the reactive space and move back to this place I call home and be receptive to the wisdom that comes from simply looking at things being aware and present to things from a very detached perspective doesn't mean cold perspective but a detached perspective that means you're aware of what's going on but you're not giving your energy to that which is going on we're able to do this then we would immediately be practicing one type of meditation and that meditation is the awareness meditation which means that we are aware of really what is going on rather than that which the limbic brain is reacting to and sometimes what is going on is not very obvious but we're in touch with what's going on simply because what's going on and can be very obvious to our intuition or very obvious to the subtle aspects of communication that our bodies are in tune to be receptive to so we can we can have a gut feeling or we can have a deep understanding of a situation even if our minds can't quite comprehend what's going on and we are receptive enough to be in touch with the information that's being communicated beyond just the mental belief systems and concepts that the brain is so very used to reacting from and those mental concepts very often are attached to the limbic brain so if we are able to come back to a space of stillness where we are detached and we let go of our reactive mode of thinking and simply fall into a heartfelt mode of thinking so that what we are looking at really comes from space of gratitude a space of enjoyment a space of positivity rather than space of reaction where our reaction is usually about resolving a situation or resolving a complex situation that may cause unhappiness if we were to drop that sort of mode of thinking which is what happens in meditation you are dropping that sort of attachment to the mundane to all the little things that are happening around you and you're coming back to the most profound aspect of your experience and that is your breath so you begin to breathe in a deep and beautiful way that is much more to do with the diaphragm than shallow breathing so already you're in touch with your body when letting go of the mundane and letting go of the attachment to the mundane in such a way where you slowly get in touch with other channels that are in communication with your experience rather than just the reactive picture that the habitual mind or the habitual belief system creates and then recreates an experience for you that all of a sudden gets very confusing and very intense as many have been writing to me and explaining it's so intense it's not really that intense it's only intense because you have sort of dialed up the the control button to very very reactive and the intensity is not your fault but the intensity is simply because you need to dial that button back down to receptive which means rather than getting caught and attached to all that is going on around you look at the simplicity of your communication beyond your reactivity so look at your breath now in this moment look at how you're breathing if your breathing is a reflection of your mental state that is reactive then I'll down the button so that you become more receptive to the natural flow that is within a breath that is relaxed and not in in being controlled by the limbic brain so that you react in certain ways so that is hard work to let go in this way it's hard work to to let go of the habits we all know this you know habits so falling back into a system of communication that has been very much ingrained or manipulated socialized into your way of thinking requires a little bit of work to let go of now luckily you have the transmissions and you have the reminders through the transmissions to keep challenging these sort of habits that are there consciously in your mind you're aware of them or even more difficult for everyone subconsciously part of your personality part of your persona part of the way that you communicate to the world so these aspects of course need a challenge and that challenge comes not only from within you but from within the consciousness that you surround yourself with and hence why it's so important to be present to transmissions and to be present to transmissions that are conscious so the consciousness that you are present to and be for example allowing yourself to listen to your heart rather than to listen to the impulses that are being produced by your limbic brain and even though it's difficult some people say well I'm trying to listen to my heart but my mind just is so very busy so very busy getting caught
