Affirmations are such a lovely way to reinforce positive beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours, particularly when you have lost your sense of sense after experiencing a trauma or a life-changing experience. Repeat these affirmations as many times as you need. Once you truly believe them, create your own. To support you in that do some EFT tapping and listen to the meditation for self-empowerment in my library. This will help your healing from trauma.

Welcome to these self-empowerment affirmations to support you in gaining confidence,

Trust and belief in yourself again.

For a new way of thinking,

Repeat these until you feel they are part of you.

Close your eyes or leave them open,

Gently focusing in front of you and allow your body to relax,

Opening your heart to receive these affirmations.

Repeat them after me and notice how they feel in your body.

I am ready to be empowered.

I welcome in feeling empowered now.

I trust my intuition and make confident decisions.

I can create the life I desire.

That I can.

I'm empowered to make positive changes in my life.

And when I do so,

I'll act from a place of love rather than fear and doubt.

Because all I need is within me right now.

I accept myself for who I am and have the ability to create peace,

Power and confidence in my life.

My self-worth comes from within.

My soul radiates from the inside out and warms the souls of those around me.

I exude confidence and compassion.

I release all that no longer serves me and am able to reclaim my power.

I'm self-sufficient and can take care of myself and my needs.

Each morning I wake up honoring myself and my truth.

And I know what I need to do to take care of myself.

Each morning I will start with a positive and empowering thought.

And I will allow this to reverberate through every moment of my day,

No matter what it brings me.

For a few moments continue to breathe deeply,

Allowing your body to relax deeper into this beautiful space of self-empowerment.

Slowly we'll bring you back into the present moment.

Allow yourself to feel gratitude for this beautiful practice.

Feel gratitude towards yourself for doing this work.

And take this feeling of empowerment with you as you slowly begin to bring yourself back into the present moment.

Notice how your body feels different when you're feeling empowered,

Confident and assured.

And take this feeling with you everywhere you go throughout the rest of your day.
