Hey,

So today we're going to be doing a meditation for the inner child.

In fact,

It'll be a sound journey.

We'll be bringing in the rattle today,

So we'll start out with some easing into.

So gradually find your space.

If you need to pause the audio,

Pause the audio,

But find your easy seat.

Maybe this is seated with an erect spine,

Easy shoulders,

Or maybe this is lying down with a blanket on top of your body.

You might want to have a journal next to you in case you want to take any notes down after this process,

But gradually as you're ready,

We'll begin.

I invite you to start by feeling a sense of relaxation move from the top of your head down to the soles of the feet.

Seamlessly and effortlessly you feel the jaw unhinge,

The muscles of the forehead melt.

On your next round of breath you feel a little bit more air move through the diaphragm.

The deeper the breath,

The clearer the thoughts,

The clearer the vision.

And this is your time to just slow down.

In that slowing down,

Your heart begins to soften.

Anything you're holding in the shoulders begins to relax.

In fact,

You feel the weight of gravity on the shoulders.

You feel it on the hips,

The buttocks,

The entire body.

And so just allow for your body to surrender into the support.

It is okay if you move during this meditation,

But also be aware.

Allow yourself to notice if there is a desire to move,

To distract yourself.

And to ease ourselves in,

We'll cultivate our energy a little bit.

I invite you to imagine a ball of light at your tailbone and take a deep breath in.

And as you do,

You draw up that ball of light up the spine,

Up into the back of the belly,

The back of the solar plexus,

The back of the heart,

Back of the throat,

Up into the brain.

As you exhale,

That ball falls back down.

And as you breathe in again,

It moves up,

Up,

Up,

Up into the crown and falls back down each time,

Clearing your chakras,

Clearing your energy field.

So continue breathing like this for a minute,

Holding that visualization and start to become aware of your inner world.

Notice any parts of the body where maybe that energy starts moving or maybe any parts in the body where maybe that energy feels a bit tense or sticky or stuck and continue breathing in to that ball of light.

And gradually from here,

You can let go of that visualization.

Observe yourself in this moment.

And gradually,

Gradually,

We'll begin with our guided visualization.

So take a moment to allow yourself to just receive the sound of my voice and the rattle.

And I invite you to start to imagine yourself in a green forest on a path.

And as you are on this path,

You see this forest has been freshly rained upon.

It's wet.

The trees are greener than they normally would be.

And there's a cool but gentle breeze that runs through this forest.

And you begin to walk down this forest path,

Feeling each slow step from your feet,

Taking in the visuals,

The sounds,

Maybe you hear birds,

The sound of the wind,

The sound of your own steps.

And you continue to walk,

Feeling yourself anchored and present and in this moment.

And there comes a point on this path where you notice a divot.

Maybe it's on your left or your right,

But you notice a table.

And this table is set.

It has a cover on it.

And it has a teapot and two tea cups.

And out of curiosity,

You begin to walk over to this table.

And as you get closer and closer,

You notice sitting at this table is a younger version of you.

Allow for the first thing,

The first version of you that comes up to come up.

And as you get closer,

You decide to take a seat at this table with this younger version of you.

You decide to pour a cup of tea for the both of you.

And you take a moment before even saying anything just to look at this younger version of you in the eyes with openness with receptiveness.

Take a moment to notice what was this?

What is this past version of you feeling?

What might they be thinking?

What is their body like?

What might they be thinking?

What is their body language?

And from here,

I just invite you to ask that younger version of you.

What's going on for them?

Are they tied to a specific memory or time period?

Ask this younger version of you.

What are their biggest challenges?

Ask that younger version of you in this moment.

If it's accessible.

What they need from you.

In what way you can support them.

If there's some way you're able to support them in this moment,

See if you can offer that.

Maybe that's a gift,

A hug,

A word of affirmation.

And if there was anything you could say to that younger version of you right now,

What would you tell them?

As you finish your sharing,

Ask that younger version of you if there is any last thing that they would like to share.

And just listen deeply,

Open deeply.

And gradually as you finish this sharing,

You thank this past version of you.

You give gratitude to this past version of you for showing up and sharing.

You even take a moment,

The both of you stand from this table and ask to say goodbye.

You give each other a hug.

And as you reach in for this hug,

As you hug each other,

That younger version of you blends into,

Melts into you,

Becomes a part of you.

If it feels right,

You can even give yourself a hug in this moment.

And from here,

You take a moment and you look around this beautiful forest again.

Just appreciating the space,

The land,

The ground,

The earth,

The wetness,

The coolness in the air.

And bit by bit,

You feel yourself coming back into your body.

And to close as you feel yourself coming back into your body,

We'll close with a short,

Short sound healing.

So just open up your consciousness,

Open up your energy field to just receiving any of the sounds that are meant to come through.

May it be for your highest good,

May it be in support of healing your inner child,

Healing your connection to your energy and yourself.

And as you close,

You feel yourself coming back into your body.

Healing your connection to your energy and yourself.

And so take as much time as you need in this space,

Only coming out when you are ready.

But as you are,

I just want to take a moment and just honor and thank you for taking the time to listen to this and to tune into yourself.
