Taking a moment to rest in this space.

Sitting in an upright and comfortable position.

Lying down,

Gently settle into posture.

Inviting the eyes to close.

Checking in with yourself.

How do you feel in this moment?

And in this time?

Are there any feelings mentally or physically?

And are there any thoughts?

No need to engage with the thoughts,

Nor deny them.

Simply observing as if the thoughts are clouds floating across a clear blue sky.

Point attention to the breath,

Bringing focus to the present moment.

So feeling the breath enter through the nose.

Roll through the body,

Releasing the breath.

Noticing the moment by moment experience of breathing.

Sensing into the in-breath.

The flow of in-breath.

The turn of the breath.

Sensing into the out-breath.

Sensing that natural slight pause at the end of the out-breath.

Setting the intention for the practice to connect to nature.

What benefits may you draw from being alive to the natural world?

Benefits may include reduced stress,

Relaxation.

Allowing an image of a space in nature that is safe,

Supportive and nurturing to flow into the experience.

So no need to think too much about what this space may be.

Just allowing an image to flow in.

A space that's safe,

Supportive and nurturing in nature.

Allowing an image to flow in.

You may visualise this space or have a felt sense of it.

What are the views of the space around?

What can we see?

What colours are present?

What textures are there?

What sounds are present?

Sounds of nature.

Sounds near and far.

Sounds of any sense in the air.

Taking time to really breathe deeply.

Feeling the breath moving into the body.

Feeling the release of the breath.

Does the sense bring any taste to the mouth?

Inviting movement through the landscape.

How does the body feel moving in this space?

Maybe walking?

Running?

Perhaps the body feels peaceful?

Or maybe it feels energetic?

Or perhaps a different energy entirely?

Taking note of what that energy is.

Bringing awareness to the feet.

What surface does the feet meet?

How does the texture feel on the foot?

Feeling the air off the breeze.

Nice in nature.

Taking a moment to relax in the space.

Your body may still be moving through it.

Simply sitting or lying down in the space.

Opening to all the senses.

The sights.

The sounds.

The smells and tastes.

The sensation of the body.

Resting in this safe,

Supportive and nurturing space.

Taking a moment to breathe in all that this space has to offer.

Breathing out.

Allowing those benefits to extend through the body.

And back out to the space around.

Allowing this image of space in nature to gently dissolve.

Going back into the body.

You may wish to gently wriggle the fingers and the toes.

Really feeling into the feet.

As we draw this practice to a close,

Taking a moment to reflect upon any learnings or insights gained during the practice.

Gently opening the eyes.

Welcoming ourselves back to the present space and time.

Taking a moment to pay gratitude with beauty.

The wonder of nature.

And how this benefits our wellbeing.

The wellbeing of all lovers.
