Arrive into your body.
Say goodbye to where you were before this and call your energy back into your body here and now.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and release through the mouth.
In through your nose and out through the mouth.
In through your nose and release through the mouth.
You can relax and let go.
Repeat the following phrase to yourself silently.
I can relax and let go.
I can relax and let go.
I can relax and let go.
Feel your muscles loosen their grip.
Feel your jaw relax.
Feel your neck and shoulders drop down.
Well-being is not something we have to work hard at.
Well-being is the essence of who you are.
When you remove the things that are weighing you down,
You are left with well-being.
Repeat this affirmation to yourself silently.
I am now open to total well-being in all aspects of life.
I am now open to total well-being in all aspects of life.
I am now open to total well-being in all aspects of life.
When you imagine yourself experiencing total well-being,
What does it feel like?
Happiness,
Peace,
Laughter,
Silence.
Take note of where in your body you feel that.
Maybe you feel peace in your forehead,
At the temples,
And around the mouth.
Maybe you feel happiness in your chest and back.
Perhaps you feel silence in your arms and in the soles of your feet.
Be specific and observe this feeling now.
Many of us buy into the idea that we have to meditate more,
Be more disciplined,
Or be more like this teacher or this guru.
The truth is there is nothing you have to do,
No one you have to become,
To enjoy this state of well-being.
In fact,
You're doing it right now.
Practice this feeling of well-being in your body now.
Even if the feeling is fleeting and momentary,
That is perfect.
You're doing great.
Your body is learning what it feels like to be serene,
At peace,
Content,
And in the present moment.
As you do this,
New neural connections are forming in your brain.
The new neural pathways that you are creating right now will remain with you long after this session.
Your brain will remind you of feeling peaceful when you least expect it,
When you're sitting in traffic or in a lengthy meeting.
The body communicates with the brain and the brain communicates with the body.
That's why the benefits of your meditation practice extend far after the meditation itself.
Enjoy this feeling in your body now.
When your mind wanders,
It's okay.
Gently bring your attention back to this feeling of well-being in your body.
The new neural pathways that you are creating right now will remain with you long after this session.
The new neural pathways that you are creating right now will remain with you long after this session.
You you you Too often we rewind into the past or fast forward into the future The truth is we have the most power in the present moment Well-being is experienced in the here and now you As you breathe feel the chest expanding and lifting Feel the top of your head reaching tall Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth Take comfort in knowing that your practice was perfect today because you showed up.
Thank you for meditating with me you
