Welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is yogi Brian Find a comfortable spot a comfortable place a spot where you can lay down on your back Be on a yoga mat on the floor On a blanket And maybe cover yourself with the blanket as your body temperature will drop slightly as you relax And bring your body to a straight line legs long arms long Palms either facing down or facing up Maybe some support behind the head and maybe some support behind the knees Find a place where you can remain still and fully relax your body And once you find that space Softly close your eyes And bring your attention to your breath Your natural breath And clearing away any expectations for this meditation And clearing away any to-do lists you have for your day And clearing away any to-do lists you have for your day All you have to do is listen to the sound of my voice And all you have to do is breathe Now bring your attention to the world around you Listen to the sounds in your room and listen to the sounds outside your room Allow yourself to be aware of all the sensations around you Sounds,
Temperature,
Smells Now start to move inward Taking that journey inward,
Feeling the breath Now I want you to imagine a safe place A safe spot A safe environment That you've traveled to,
You've been to Maybe it's a person you're with Maybe it's right here,
Right now,
In the room you're in But I want you to visualize and imagine a safe place where you can feel so secure and so safe Thank you for watching!
And now bring awareness back to your body on the floor or wherever you're at And keep as still as you possibly can But notice the body,
Scan the body And notice if you feel any tension in the body Is there specific parts of the body you're feeling tension?
And allow the tension to slowly melt away Each and every breath you take Now bring the awareness back to the breath Notice the breath And follow the breath as it moves into the chest and abdomen And then follow the breath as it moves from the abdomen to the chest and back through the nostrils Fill the inhale and the exhale Each and every breath you take,
You relax even more and more And then follow the breath And follow the breath as it moves from the abdomen to the chest and back through the nostrils Noticing the belly rise and fall as you breathe And feeling the whole body relaxing Your body feels heavier and heavier Not yet,
But in just a moment Start to count your breath Not yet,
But in just a moment You'll start from the number 40 And you'll count all the way down to 1 No controlling,
No stressing If you forget your number,
Just start back over at 40 There's no goal,
There's no contest Just count your breath And if you doze off,
If you fall asleep,
If you forget count,
Just start back at 40 Exhale all the air out of your body And let's start Inhale 40 Exhale 40 Inhale 39 And exhale 39 Inhale 38 Exhale 38 Continue to count down If you lose count,
If you fall asleep,
Just start back over at 40 Thank you for watching!
Now allow the numbers to fade away into space Allow your conscious mind to relax Just surrender to the relaxation Your body needs it Whole body relax And as you drift away Your conscious mind lets go But your unconscious mind hears everything it needs to hear Your unconscious mind continues to listen As your conscious mind relaxes and fades away Now notice your thoughts Notice your breath And just observe any memories or images that might arise Be totally non-judgmental in whatever comes up And notice the feelings you feel Feel these feelings Maybe see an image with these feelings And as you feel these feelings and see the images and see the memories Imagine the opposite feeling The opposite emotion Without controlling or straining Imagine the opposite feeling And allow the images in your mind allow the memories to fade away And notice the feeling in your body How do you feel?
And where do you feel these emotions?
Where in the body do you feel this?
Now bring to your mind a memory that holds great joy and peace for you Remember this memory That holds great joy and peace for you Visualize it,
See it,
See the images,
See this memory and feel the emotions in your body Remember this memory Remember all the details,
All the feelings of this memory that gave you great joy and peace Feel it in your body Now allow the story,
The memory,
The image,
The emotions The memory,
The images to fade away into space Let's sit with the feeling,
Feel this feeling in your body And pinpoint where this feeling is coming from in your body And now start to see a color of this feeling in your body It could be any color,
It could be multiple colors,
See this color,
Feel this feeling This feeling that brought you great joy and peace Feel it and see the color coming from in your body And notice this color growing stronger and brighter and growing throughout your body It's getting brighter,
It's absorbing more and more of your body This joy,
This peace,
This unconditional love floods your body Each and every muscle fiber,
Each and every cell,
This color fills your body Like water fills a glass Feel this feeling,
Allow this color,
Allow this joy,
This peace,
This unconditional love Filling every single fiber of your body Saying the mantra to yourself silently On an inhale,
I am And on the exhale,
Loved Inhale,
I am Exhale,
Loved Keep saying this mantra to yourself silently Thank you for watching!
I've taken this mantra like a seed and planting this mantra in your heart space Allowing it to grow here throughout your day,
Throughout the week,
Throughout the month,
Throughout the year I am loved Now notice how the body feels Notice the breath,
How the breath feels Some people feel a sense of ease A sense of peace A sense of knowing,
Of wholeness How do you feel?
