Welcome to Rise and Shine,

A guided meditation to help us start our day on a positive and empowered note.

Let's take a moment to find a comfortable space where we can relax and turn our attention inward.

Together we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and set the stage for a beautiful day ahead.

Let us begin by finding a comfortable position,

Whether it's sitting on a cushion or laying down.

Take a deep breath,

Allowing your body to relax as you settle into your sacred space.

Feel the support of the surface beneath you,

Allowing any tension of tightness to melt away with each breath.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Take a few moments to scan your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Notice any areas of discomfort or tightness.

With each exhale,

Release the tension,

Allowing your body to soften and surrender to this present moment.

As we arrive fully in the present moment,

Let's take a moment to reflect on three things that we are grateful for today.

This can be big or small,

Simple or profound.

Bring to mind the warmth of your bed,

The nourishment of a good meal,

Or the presence of loved ones in your life.

As you hold these moments of gratitude in your heart,

Notice how your body responds.

Feel a sense of appreciation spreading throughout your entire being,

Filling you with a deep sense of contentment.

Now slowly,

Let's shift our focus on the breath,

The ever-present anger that guides us back to the present moment.

Take a deep breath in,

Feeling the air fill your lungs,

And exhale slowly,

Allowing any tension to release.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest or the sensation of your breath at the tip of your nose.

Let's take another breath in and exhale.

With each breath,

Invite a sense of calmness and tranquility to wash over you.

Let go of any thoughts or worries that may be lingering in your mind and simply be fully present with your breath.

Get away to inner stillness and peace.

As you continue to breathe deeply and steadily,

Take a moment to set an intention for your day.

What quality or mindset would you like to invite or cultivate within yourself?

It could be patience,

Kindness,

Courage,

Or any other virtue that resonates with you.

Allow your intention to arise from a place of authenticity and alignment with your highest self.

Silently or out loud,

Repeat your intention,

Letting it sink into the depths of your being,

Knowing that it will guide and support you throughout the whole day.

Now let's engage the power of our imagination to create a vision of our ideal day.

See yourself gracefully moving through the entire day,

Effortlessly accomplishing tasks with joy and ease.

Visualize positive interactions,

Moments of inspiration,

And a deep sense of fulfillment.

Engage all your senses as you paint this picture in your mind.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,

Hear the sounds of laughter and nature,

And taste the sweetness of life's blessings.

Allow yourself to be fully immersed in this vision,

Knowing that it is a reflection of your highest potential.

Together,

Let's repeat affirmations that empower and uplift us,

Affirming our inherent strength and wisdom.

I am capable of handling any challenges that come my way.

I trust in my abilities and embrace the opportunities that arise.

I am open to receiving guidance and inspiration throughout the day.

I radiate positivity and attract positive experiences.

Allow these words to create a positive shift in your mindset and outlook.

As we move forward into the day,

Let us remember to be gentle and compassionate with ourselves.

Acknowledge that we are human and perfection is not required.

Simply take a moment to pause,

Breathe,

Let's take a few deep breaths,

Feeling the sensation of each inhale and exhale.

Let's inhale and take a big exhale.

Notice the rise and fall of your belly,

The expansion and contraction of your chest.

Gently start to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Feeling the connection between your body and the ground beneath you.

Take a moment to express gratitude for the sacred time you've spent nourishing your mind,

Body,

And spirit.

As you slowly open your eyes,

Carry the positive energy and intentions you have cultivated throughout this meditation into your day.

Remember that starting your day with intention and mindfulness can create a powerful ripple effect,

Influencing your thoughts and actions and interactions.
