Hello my dear friend,
I'm Robert Halle and I greet you with such friendly regard because we're about to share some moments together and I want you to know that I'm right here by your side,
Breathing,
Being,
And holding each other in that supportive light for the task at hand to recenter and if you fall off task I'm gonna be there with you.
I welcome you to this minimal counting meditation.
The inspiration is based off the famous count to ten when you're about to lose your temper or when you're angry before you react.
We've all heard it.
Count to ten.
The whole world of meditation can get quite eclectic,
Esoteric,
Scientific,
And creative.
Believe me,
I've been doing this for many years and as an artist I enjoy the colors,
The visualization,
The poetry,
But for this meditation let's be so minimal.
No music,
Just me and you.
Wherever,
However this finds you,
We will breathe together through our nose and exhale by saying the number.
We will ascend and have 100 breaths together.
This is a popular technique to focus,
To return to the magical moment of now where all of our power is,
And to practice not letting ourselves get lost and run away with thought.
But I sincerely mean that with how I greeted you earlier.
So if you get to a number and then you forget where you are or you're daydreaming about unicorns or ice cream or an expense,
I'm gonna keep counting.
See it as me holding your hand.
We're walking together.
So just come back.
Come back.
You got this.
No need to think about the stars or other lifetimes,
Just the number.
Because this present moment is where our power is.
Let's begin.
So move and groove.
Settle and be.
Or maybe you're doing this while you clean or walk in nature.
It doesn't really matter,
Honestly.
This is a mindfulness practice of presence through counting.
20 more seconds.
Moving as you wish.
Maybe releasing your jaw.
Real or fake yawns.
Maybe some different sounds on your exhale.
Lip trills.
I enjoy grabbing my ears with my index and thumb and just pulling on the lobes while I open my mouth to really open the sinus cavity.
Hmm.
Let's begin,
Dear friend.
Let's ascend and be present together.

Congratulations on your perfect score.
You did it.
We did it.
No matter where your mind went,
Whether you lost count,
Whether you went to Mars or somewhere else marvelous,
We counted together to 100.
Even me,
Knowing that I'm not doing this alone,
I was able to have that as accountability to achieve the task at hand.
So wherever your meditation journey takes you,
Know that there's millions of ways to meditate.
There's not one way.
And this is just a reminder that in moments of anxiety,
In anger,
In distraction,
Or even in bliss,
You want to return to where the power is.
Maybe you just count.
Maybe you just count.
We go back to being a toddler and learning to count,
To have that childlike minimalistic approach to being mindful.
It's been a pleasure.
Until we connect again,
Peace,
Love,
Breath,
And light be with you now and always.
Thank you.
Thank you.
