Hello and welcome.

My name is Bailey and I am a nurse practitioner turned Reiki master teacher and sound healer.

And I create distance Reiki healing sessions along with my sound healing frequency music to help people who are struggling with stress,

Anxiety,

Or overwhelm,

Or who are perhaps on a physical healing journey.

Tonight's practice will help you reset and repair from any overstimulation.

Let it be a space to restore your rhythm and reconnect with your body's deep wisdom,

Letting you get a beautiful,

Peaceful,

Restful night's sleep.

Let's begin your practice now.

Take a few moments to get your bedroom ready for rest,

Getting your pillow and blanket all set up so you're cocooned and held in the most comfortable way.

It's time to slow down,

To soften,

To rest.

Gently lie down in a position that feels truly comfortable for you.

Allow your arms to rest by your sides,

Let your legs fall naturally,

And when you feel ready,

Gently close down your eyes.

Feel the weight of your body being held by the surface beneath you.

Allow the back of the body to be fully supported,

Falling into the earth,

There's nowhere to be,

Nothing to hold.

Let yourself begin to arrive in this moment,

Just as you are.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through the nose,

And a soft sigh out through the mouth.

Again,

Inhale deeply through the nose,

And exhale gently through,

Let it go.

Now,

Let the breath return to a soft,

Natural rhythm,

Effortless,

Like the tide,

Exhaling.

Let the breath breathe you.

Let's now plant a quiet intention,

A seed of rest.

This is your sankalpa,

A simple truth you offer to your subconscious.

Choose something gentle and nurturing,

As if whispering to yourself,

My mind is quiet,

My body is at peace,

I am ready to rest,

Sleep flows to me with ease.

Whatever you feel called to choose is perfect for you.

Repeat your sankalpa inwardly now,

Three times.

Feel it settle deep within you,

Like a soft promise resting in the heart.

Now gently bring awareness to the space of the mind,

The inner landscape of thoughts and stories.

There is no need to follow anything.

Let each thought rise and pass like clouds in the sky.

No need to hold them,

No need to analyze.

Let them drift away on the breath.

With every exhale,

Release more,

Softening the mind.

You are not your thoughts.

You are the awareness beneath them.

The stillness they float through.

Allow yourself to drop beneath the thinking mind,

Into that quiet place within.

Rest here.

As I gently begin,

We will begin to move through the body,

Bringing your attention to each point.

Welcoming rest with awareness.

Right chest.

Right waist.

Sole of the right foot.

Fifth toe.

Left little finger.

Left wrist.

Chest.

Left side body.

Left waist.

Second toe.

Right shoulder blade.

Back of the right thigh.

Backs of the calves.

Forehead.

Eyebrows.

Space between the eyebrows.

Cheeks.

Heart center.

Rib cage.

Hips.

Pelvis.

Front of the right thigh.

Front of the left thigh.

Shins.

Tops of the feet.

Now sense your entire body as one of awareness,

Held by the earth,

Supported by breath.

Completely at ease.

Feel the breath moving through the body.

A soft wave of life.

Let it move through you without effort or need to change anything.

Let the body breathe.

Let the body be.

Let the body rest as it is.

Rest as it is.

You are here.

You are safe.

Once again to the breath.

Rising.

Exhaling.

Dissolving into stillness.

Let each breath into quiet.

Like a boat drifting down a gentle stream.

Effortless.

Held by the rhythm of your breath.

The body is soft.

You are drifting into deep rest.

Now just being.

There is nothing to change.

Just being.

Resting.

Let sleep come.

Peace.

Let yourself drift into supported to rest.
