This somatic meditation supports women in transforming shame through calm, body-based awareness. Using breath, sensation, and gentle attention to the lower body—including the genitals—the practice invites presence without sexualization or effort. Rather than fixing or releasing shame, the meditation supports integration, self-trust, and a felt sense of wholeness. Best suited for those with some familiarity with body-based or mindfulness practices.

Begin by finding a position where your body feels supported.

Let the surface beneath you hold your weight.

Notice and allow your breathing to remain natural.

Bring your attention into your body.

Not to fix anything.

Just to arrive.

Let your awareness move slowly through your body.

The scalp and head.

The jaw.

The eyes.

The throat.

The chest.

The belly.

The sacrum.

The genitals.

The heart.

And your limbs,

Fingers and toes.

Notice where your attention naturally settles and where it hesitates.

Stay with the place you notice most.

No story.

No interpretation.

Just presence.

If it feels available,

Let your awareness rest at the genitals.

Not sexually.

Not analytically.

Simply as body.

Notice any tightening or softening or the absence of sensation.

All responses are welcome.

If stories or memories arise in your awareness,

Simply acknowledge them.

You do not need to follow them or push them away.

Feel them as gentle ripples in a stream and return to the pure sensation of breath.

Take a slow breath in and a longer breath out.

Again,

Inhale gently and exhale fully.

If a sound comes out,

Let it.

Imagine a soft golden light surrounding the lower body.

The pelvis and erogenous zones.

Warm,

Steady,

Without demand.

It does not enter.

It does not activate.

It simply allows presence.

Now stay with the breath here.

Inhale slowly.

Exhale longer.

Again,

Inhale gently.

Exhale fully.

Let each breath soften the body without effort.

Stay with the breath.

With sensation.

With contact.

Let your awareness widen to include your whole body.

A soft golden light holding you.

Supported.

Breathing.

Here.

Remain for a few breaths.

Nothing needs to change.

When you're ready,

Gently return.

Grounded.

Whole.

Still yourself.
