Welcome,
Welcome to your sitting practice.
Take a few moments to find a meditative state,
Simply by noticing your posture and your position.
Not only in your meditation seat,
But in your life,
In the role that you play,
Or the roles that you play.
Take a moment to notice how your posture is,
How your position is,
And what kind of role you are playing.
Enough is enough.
There are certain things right now in your life that you know that need to change.
The change is necessary.
But when will you actually bring these new habits into your reality?
I know you know what you need.
Your body knows what you need,
But your mind,
That mind,
The chatter of the mind,
Is still holding onto something,
A belief system.
What is that belief system?
This mantra,
Enough is enough,
Is letting yourself know that everything that you are doing to self-sabotage your success,
Your mental success,
Your physical success,
Your emotional success,
Your financial success,
The success of your boundaries,
The success of the regulation in your nervous system,
All of this is a concept of success that you self-sabotage.
Instead of judging yourself for this,
I invite you just to simply observe.
You will breathe better when you're observing.
When you start to judge,
You'll notice your breath get smaller,
Quicker,
Shorter.
Don't go there.
Stay with me.
In this breath right now,
Big,
Bold,
Brave breath.
And in this breath right now.
And also this one right here.
Moment by moment,
Just stay with it.
Stay committed to breathing big.
The bigness is not just in the expansion of your lungs to breathe big.
But it's the bigness of your emotions.
The bigness of your actions.
Because how you breathe is how you live.
Check in.
What is something in your life right now that you need to stop?
Maybe you've been unkind recently.
You've been mean recently.
You've been angry recently.
Troublesome.
You've lost your way.
You've realized,
Who have I become?
Perhaps you're doing all the practices,
Yet you're still,
Still messing up.
Welcome to the human condition.
Welcome to being human.
Welcome to the messiness of being human.
Welcome to being bold and brave.
And doing it anyway.
This curiosity to keep on going.
This courage that you have to keep on going.
This bravery you have to keep on sitting with me.
To listen.
To tune in.
To inquire.
To get deeper.
To get to the root.
If that's not courage,
I don't know what is.
Feel your sensations here.
What's happening on a somatic level.
On a bodily level.
On a sensational level.
Soften your shell.
Forgive yourself.
For messing up.
For being mean.
For being angry.
For being frustrated.
For saying that thing that you know you shouldn't have said.
For doing that thing without awareness.
For being so busy,
Being busy.
That you've forgotten the essence of harmony.
Of compassion.
Of understanding.
Because if you don't forgive yourself,
You're not giving yourself a chance to try again.
Give yourself the chance.
Give yourself the opportunity.
Give yourself the balm that you are looking for,
For your wounds.
To remember that your wounds are a part of your wisdom.
This is how you gain wisdom.
If you avoid the wounds,
How can you embody wiseness?
You see,
Your wounds and your wisdom are next door neighbors.
They live so intimately close to each other.
Notice how that feels in your body.
Maybe there's a deeper sinking in to your body there.
To let yourself know,
Your ego know,
The one that keeps you trapped.
You know.
You feel.
You see.
You can taste it.
You know when it's coming.
You know when it's arrived.
You know when it's staying far too long.
Then you need.
Enough is enough.
Let yourself know in a gentle way.
And to remind yourself that the self-sabotage that you are currently in,
It's not doing you anything.
You are keeping yourself trapped.
So find the key.
Wherever it is.
And unlock yourself from this trap.
Visualize it,
If it helps.
Find the key in your body.
Go ahead and unlock that cage.
Whatever cage that you've got yourself in.
Come out of that cage.
Come on out.
For yourself.
And use this mantra,
Enough is enough.
To let your inner child know that you are the adult now.
You get to rescue yourself.
You get to save yourself.
You are in charge.
Notice how this feels in your body.
You know what you need to do.
You know what you need to say.
You know what habits you need to incorporate into your day.
You already know.
I know you know.
The question is,
How badly do you want it?
How badly do you want to feel it?
I will leave you with that question.
From my heart to yours.
Namaste.
