Hi friends,
It's Beth.
Welcome to your 6-minute,
Midday,
Or anytime,
Grace meditation practice.
Taking a few breaths,
An inhale and a slow,
Soft exhale,
Begin to come into an awareness of where the body rests for this practice.
As you rest,
As you release into your space,
Allow your mind to consider how grace has shown up for you in your life so far today.
If we remember from our morning practice that grace is a state of allowing without judgment or reaction,
Where is it that you have given grace freely and openly to a person or situation?
How did it feel in that moment to release your energetic attachment to a response?
How did you keep yourself balanced in that space of time?
Extending grace to others can be difficult if we do not gift it to ourselves.
Where in your day have you given yourself grace?
Was it with a person,
A situation,
An expectation,
Or an idea?
How does it feel in your body to give yourself the softness of grace?
For the next several rounds of breath,
Consider how you have given or received grace from either yourself or others,
And allow those moments to linger here with you in your meditation practice.
As we draw our practice to a close,
Spend time considering the energy of sharing grace with others as well as yourself.
Can you touch into the sensations created by grace?
What does it bring you?
What does it leave behind?
Can you allow the energy of kindness to linger in and around you for the rest of your day?
