Find a comfortable position,
Whether sitting or lying down,
You choose.
And when you feel safe,
Please close your eyes.
And take a moment to settle into this space,
Allowing your body and mind to relax.
You might want to get the alignment of your body right,
So if you need to move a little,
Please do so.
An alignment which is open and aware.
And now,
Notice the feeling of body breathing.
Tune into your breath.
Notice the natural flow of your breath.
You don't need to change or force anything.
Simply,
Observing each inhale and simply observing each exhale.
And now,
We begin our meditation to connect with the source.
The source from which all existence flows.
The source is the entire universe.
In this moment,
Go within to that quiet place.
Where we experience a connection to the higher self.
Now,
I want you to bring a situation from the past.
A situation where someone disappointed you.
A situation which was totally unacceptable for you.
Perhaps,
Someone rejected you.
Or perhaps,
Someone did something wrong to you.
Or perhaps,
A person who disturbs you.
Perhaps,
A memory from the past where you felt extremely dissatisfied or disappointed.
Because he or she didn't meet your expectations.
And ask yourself these questions.
What am I not accepting that is disturbing me?
Who am I not accepting that is disturbing me?
Put yourself in that situation where you accept the changeable.
Where you change the changeable and where you remove the unchangeable.
How does it feel not to accept the unchangeable?
How would it feel to change the changeable?
How would it feel to remove the unacceptable?
Perhaps,
A sense of peace.
Perhaps,
A sense of calm.
Perhaps,
A sense of relief.
Imagine the effect you will have on others.
Imagine you are practicing total acceptance and exploring how it affects your environment.
Imagine you are practicing non-acceptance and exploring how it affects your environment.
Noticing the contrasting difference.
And you will understand how important it is to move away from non-acceptance to acceptance.
Let's spend a moment focusing on today's centering thoughts.
I happily accept and accommodate situations and people.

And now,
Let go of any specific techniques.
Just simply allow yourself to sit quietly.
Allowing yourself to be present as to whatever is arising in this present moment.
Bring hands in front of your heart.
And we will seal the practice today by bowing to ourselves and others.
