Hello,

This meditation is to help reduce stress and to get the most out of this experience.

Find a place where you can sit undisturbed and because we'll be discussing or moving through tough emotions,

Strong emotions,

You also want to find a place where you can connect to the earth,

A place where you can ground down and so even though we'll be talking about some strong emotions,

You'll be reminded that you are safe.

And let's begin with our breath,

Drawing the breath into the body and releasing it back out and with your exhale,

Allow the body to soften,

Allow the shoulders to relax down and settle into this moment.

You may keep the eyes open or closed and bring to mind something in your life in this moment that is eliciting stress.

Allow yourself to experience this feeling of stress,

Let it rise up for this is how we release and let it go.

Think about the stress in your life.

Think about the events that are causing this stress.

And if you were to measure this stress in this moment on a scale from zero to ten,

How much stress are you experiencing?

And write this down as a reminder and we'll begin and we tap on that karate part of the hand.

Even though I am experiencing stress in my body,

I can accept myself.

I can accept how my body is experiencing this stress.

Even though I am experiencing stress in my mind,

I can accept that this is how my mind works through these events.

Even though I am experiencing stress,

I can accept myself.

And we continue to tap on that karate part of the hand.

Even though I am experiencing stress,

I accept myself.

And let's begin to tap on the inside of the eyebrows.

I am experiencing stress.

This stress is coming at me in so many different directions.

I feel like there's so much stress in my life right now.

So much stress.

And we'll move our hands to the outside of the eyes.

This stress feels so overwhelming,

So heavy.

I can feel this heaviness resting in my body.

And tap under the eyes and think about that comment.

Where is that stress resting in the body?

And check in with your body.

And when we talk about stress,

Where do you feel it?

Maybe you feel it across the shoulders,

In your belly.

Where do you feel stress?

And allow yourself to experience this.

We don't push it away.

We allow it to be.

And let's tap under the nose.

I have so much on my plate.

So much happening in my life.

How can you even understand what I am going through?

I am experiencing so much stress.

And we're tapping under the nose,

On top of the lip,

And we're thinking about all the stress in our life,

The thoughts that are moving through our mind.

And now we are reminded of how our body is experiencing this stress,

How it rests in our shoulders,

Maybe in our chest,

In our belly.

So much stress.

And let's bring that tapping to our chin.

I believe there is a story connected to this stress,

An event,

A person.

There is a reason why I am feeling so much stress.

And we're tapping on the chin and bring to mind what is causing this stress.

Is it a person?

Is it something that happened?

Something that you have control over?

Maybe something you don't have control over.

Bring to mind the story that comes with this stress.

And we'll bring our tapping to our collarbone,

And we're tapping on this collarbone,

And we're still keeping in mind the story,

Our story.

And maybe your story is getting a little bigger.

Maybe something happened,

But you've connected this story to other events in your life.

This always happens.

This person always does this.

How is this story building,

Creating more stress in your life?

And let's tap under the arm.

And as we think about this stress,

As we tell ourselves the story that is connected to this stress,

I want you to describe the feeling.

If it's tight,

If it's heavy,

What does it feel like?

Does it feel like you're being held underwater,

Squished,

Like you can't catch your breath,

That it's so much,

So heavy?

How does this feel?

How would you describe this to a friend or a loved one,

To me?

How does this feel?

And we'll bring our tapping to the top of the head.

If you could name this stressor,

This feeling,

This overwhelming experience of stress,

What would you name it?

And we're tapping on the top of the head,

And we're giving this stress a name,

Because we want to give it its own identity.

We want to remind ourselves that we are not the stress,

But that this is an experience that we are moving through.

So we give it a name,

Harry,

Henry the Terror Ball.

What are you naming your stress?

And we're tapping on the top of the head,

And we are reminded of how this stress is affecting us in our life.

Maybe it's keeping us from sleeping.

Maybe it's keeping us from going out with our friends,

Making choices.

How is this?

How is this a stress affecting your life?

And rest your hands,

And bring your awareness to your breath.

Bring your awareness to your body,

And check in,

And on a scale from 0 to 10,

How are you experiencing stress now?

And you can write this down,

And there is no judgment.

Sometimes the number rises,

Sometimes it falls,

Sometimes it stays the same,

But we're checking in to see when we think about stress in our life,

How do you measure that in this moment?

And we'll continue,

And let's tap on the inside of the eyebrows,

And we're going to tap now in order to release some of these emotions.

And so we tap on the inside of the eyebrow.

I'm ready to shift,

To release and let go.

I'm ready to change or rewrite this story.

I'm ready to feel different.

And we're tapping on the inside of the eyes,

And we're considering the fact that we can shift this energy,

That we can rewrite our story.

Let's tap on the outside of the eyes.

I'm ready to take a step back and to breathe.

I'm ready to let some of this stress go.

I step back,

And I am reminded that I always have my breath,

And so I breathe.

And we're tapping on the outside of the eyes,

And we're breathing gently.

And let's tap under the eyes,

And as I tap,

I visualize a light flowing into my body,

And this light is flowing in to all of those spaces that felt heavy.

I visualize a light flowing into the shoulders,

Into the belly.

I feel that light flowing into my chest.

Any space that felt heavy now is completely filled with light.

And as this light flows in,

I feel lighter.

The heaviness begins to lift.

And we're tapping under the eyes as we visualize a light flowing into the body.

And let's tap under the nose on top of the lip.

I'm ready to change my story.

I can choose how I write my story,

And I can shift.

And so think about the story that came with your stress,

And how can you rewrite this?

Maybe instead of a problem,

This is a puzzle to solve.

Maybe this is something that was put in your life to build resilience,

To build strength,

To challenge you,

To push through,

To get to the other side.

And when you do,

You have changed.

You have become stronger,

More in alignment with who you are meant to be.

This challenge is here to help create you.

And we're tapping on the lip,

And we're thinking about the story.

And how do we want to rewrite this story,

Our story?

And we tap on the chin,

And maybe you can visualize yourself moving through this story like a book.

And you see yourself at the end of the story,

Stronger,

Better,

More resilient,

More in alignment with who you are meant to be.

Visualize yourself on the other side of this.

What will you look like?

How will you feel?

And let's tap on the collarbone.

And feel this light as it moves through your body.

Feel it shifting you.

Visualize yourself on the other side.

See yourself in this new story.

Notice how you feel,

What you are thinking,

How you look.

Stronger,

Brighter.

Hold on to this image.

This is you on the other side of this struggle.

And we'll take just a moment and rest your hands onto your heart.

Holding on to this idea that you've got this,

That you're stronger than you know,

That you will get through this.

Rest your hands on your heart for just a moment.

And let's move back to the tapping.

And we tap under the arm.

And as we tap under the arm,

Remind yourself of the name that you gave this stressor.

What name did you give this stress?

And say it out loud and let them know that I set you free.

I set you free.

I let you go.

You are no longer needed.

I set you free.

And we're tapping under the arm.

And we're letting it go.

We're sending it off.

We are tapping under the arm.

And we are releasing.

We say the name and we let it go.

We set it free.

And let's tap on the top of the head and feel this sense of lightness.

Feel this sense of freedom.

Notice the body is soft and relaxed.

Visualize the light shining brightly within you.

Notice that light shining brightly in all of the spaces that were feeling heavy.

And we'll rest our hands and we'll come back to the breath.

And on that scale,

0 to 10,

Where are you now?

And depending on the stress level that you had started at,

You may need to come back and tap more.

And you can tap on releasing the stress,

Or you can tap on bringing in a new emotion,

A new feeling.

Namaste.

Namaste.
