Welcome.

This five minute meditation will help you relax and release stress.

You can practice this meditation when you wake up during your day,

As a screen break or before you go to sleep.

Now let's take a comfortable sitting position and place your hands on your knees with the palms facing towards the sky.

Relax your shoulders,

Straighten your back and close your eyes gently.

Concentrate on your breath.

Notice the air as it enters your nose.

It's time you breathe in.

Notice how your breath feels on your nostrils.

Now notice how you exhale.

Observe the air that leaves your lungs and goes upward.

Focus your attention on your breath.

Now let's take one more deep breath from the nose and exhale.

Another deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with oxygen and out.

Imagine that with each inhale you are getting everything you need right now and with every exhale you get rid of everything that currently doesn't serve you.

Send your attention to your breath.

Notice how your belly rises with each inhale and how it falls with each exhale.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Let go of any thoughts that come to your mind for a moment.

Try to focus on here and now.

Even if some thoughts come to you,

Welcome them and let them go.

The power of your mind is incredible.

Just keep focusing on your breath.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Now come back to your natural breath.

Breathe without any effort.

Start noticing the sounds around you.

Bring some movement on your fingers and your head.

Now take one last deep breath and notice how calm and relaxed you are.

Remember that you can always come back to your breath when you feel stressed.

Now gently open your eyes and feel grateful for the time you took for yourself today.

Namaste.
