Welcome,

I'm Jocelyn.

This is an awareness experiment.

It is a track for you to follow my voice in helping to guide your awareness and then feel into what's happening in your body as you do that.

Sometimes it's nice to experiment with this because we feel like we need to know,

We need to feel it in order to believe it.

And with awareness it's something that's pretty easy to experience.

So if you might just close down your eyes,

This way we can begin to guide your conscious awareness around your body,

Your energetic field.

You might open your eyes a bit later,

But to start with,

Just close down your eyes.

And the first place to begin to direct your awareness by noticing is the breath.

Just allow your awareness to settle gently on the breath,

Not in a way that you want to force it to change,

You just want to be a witness to it.

And it doesn't matter if you let your awareness settle on the depth of breath,

Temperature of breath,

If you let it settle on the flow of breath,

Where the breath is moving in the body or how it moves the body,

Any of those will do.

So whatever piques your curiosity about your breath,

Allow your awareness to just settle on it.

You might notice how your inhale opens up and makes way for the exhale,

And how the exhale settles back down to make way for an inhale.

You might notice the riverbed of your breath and how it moves through your body.

You might notice how the air is cooler when you inhale and warmer when you exhale.

Or you might just notice the rhythm of your breath.

Just leaving your awareness here to witness your breath in this moment.

It's like getting a snapshot of how your breath is moving.

And when we bring our awareness to our breath,

We don't judge it,

It's okay,

Your breath is perfect the way it is.

It's doing exactly what it needs to do for you in the moment.

So there's no need to change it.

And release your awareness from your breath for a moment.

And I want you to notice,

Has your breath changed from when you first started listening to this track?

Has it deepened?

Has it slowed down?

Do you feel more calm or relaxed or rested?

Because the only thing you did was guide your attention and awareness consciously to a system in your body,

The breath.

Now for a minute,

We're going to guide your attention in a different area.

Just like a rotation of consciousness,

I'm just going to say a few different body parts.

And as I say them,

Might you allow your awareness to follow me like a map traversing your body,

Walking on the trails,

Like your awareness is simply coming along for the hike.

And as we stop on a different body part,

Just keep your awareness conscious in that place.

You might even imagine a gentle breeze across that place as the awareness is guided to keep it there.

So let's just start with the eyes,

The right eye.

Gentle awareness across the right eye,

The eyelid,

The eyelashes,

The eye socket,

Your awareness across the whole eye socket of the right eye and the globe of the eye.

Your awareness across the whole globe of the eye,

Like a soft breeze.

And all the little muscles and tissues behind the right eye,

Your awareness like a witness,

Loving,

Kind gaze across the muscles of the right eye and the left eye,

The whole left eye,

The eyelid,

Your awareness settling across the globe of the eye.

Like a loving and kind gaze.

Your awareness across the eye socket,

All corners of the eye socket,

And all the little muscles and tissues behind the left eye.

Your awareness just a witness,

A conscious witness with a loving gaze across the whole left eye.

The muscle of the mind,

Your awareness,

A loving gaze across the muscle of the mind.

Allowing your awareness to move to the tip of your nose,

Loving and kind gaze or a gentle breeze across the tip of the nose,

The right nostril,

Your awareness across the left nostril,

And the inside of the right cheek,

A loving gaze of awareness across the whole of the inside of the right cheek.

The roof of the mouth,

All the corners of the roof of the mouth,

A gentle gaze of awareness,

Loving and kind.

And the inside of the left cheek,

Allowing your awareness to be a witness,

With a loving gaze across the inside of the left cheek,

And the tip of the tongue,

And the back of the tongue,

And the center of the throat,

Your awareness like a loving gaze witnessing the center of the throat,

And gently bringing your awareness back to your breath,

And maybe bringing your awareness to the shape of your body in space right now,

Just to our present moment.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

So that was just a little piece of a rotation of consciousness,

Where we guide our awareness consciously across the landscape of the body.

And notice now,

What was your experience of that?

Did you notice how as your awareness witnesses and is guided across the body,

That each body part begins to let go,

To soften,

To release?

You know,

A long rotation of consciousness is a beautiful thing,

An amazing rest for the body,

And all it is,

Is awareness.

I do have a few tracks that are rotation of consciousness heavy,

But a yoga nidra usually has a rotation of consciousness.

So if you wanted to go further into that,

To feel into how much you can relax with just your awareness,

It's a beautiful way to do it.

So we've gone through two different experiments,

One with the awareness on the breath and one with the awareness on the body.

Now I want you to figure out what one key memory might be for you.

A time when you were happy,

That maybe brings a smile to your face,

Or gives you a sense of home,

Or a sense of being loved or loving.

It doesn't matter if that key memory is when you were younger or it was two days ago.

It might even be a song,

It might even be a word or a set of words put together.

But take a moment and just get a key memory we're going to work with.

Sometimes it's best to work with the first memory that pops up,

But make sure that it's something that brings a smile to you,

That you have a reaction to.

And you're going to close your eyes down again and just bring your awareness to this memory.

And take a moment to open all your senses into this memory with your awareness.

When you look around in this memory,

What do you see?

Bring your awareness to your eyes in this memory.

What do you smell?

Bring and guide your awareness to what you smell in this memory.

Allow your awareness to drift to your ears.

What do you hear in this memory?

What are the sounds present?

Maybe it's the sound of your own voice or someone's laughter or music or wind through the trees.

Letting your awareness guide you to your ears in this memory.

And then bring your awareness down to what it feels like in this memory.

How does your body feel in this memory?

Is it free?

Is it open?

Is it closed down a little?

Is it tender?

Is it sweet?

Bring your awareness even closer into the feelings and what emotions are being felt in this memory.

And just let your awareness soften into this memory.

Just witness the memory.

Just be present with it.

And slowly bring your attention and awareness back to the present moment.

And notice how you feel after just bringing your awareness to a really key memory for you that brings about a smile or a special feeling.

What's amazing is just by focusing our awareness,

Just by consciously focusing our awareness,

We can begin to change our present moment.

How we feel.

How we think.

How we're showing up.

Right?

We can change that and transform it with just our awareness.

And if it starts with awareness,

Which is so powerful,

And I hope you felt it.

I hope you felt the slowing down of breath,

The deepening of breath without doing anything other than bringing your awareness to it.

And I hope you felt the relaxation of the rotation of consciousness without doing anything but bringing your attention.

And I hope you felt how when you put your attention on a memory,

You can change your mood,

Your emotions,

Your openness to things.

And it works in the same way to the other side.

When you have key memories that are rooted in fear or worry or pain,

We can create that just by our awareness there.

And that's why it's important to clear.

And if you're interested in learning how to clear,

I do have a few tracks on my teacher page about clearing your channel.

That can be helpful for you.

I really find it amazing that just by shifting our awareness,

We can change so many layers of our present moment.

And I could go into many more different ways.

I just wanted to give you the beginning feelings of how powerful awareness can be,

Conscious awareness.

People use that same awareness when they manifest,

Using their awareness,

Their guided conscious awareness,

On their imagination and what it'll feel like once they manifest something.

It's pretty amazing.

In this track,

We went through breath and rotation of consciousness.

We went into memory.

And within that memory,

I also guided your awareness just a little bit around all of the senses.

And the other really cool thing is as you begin to use your conscious awareness with your senses,

What you're doing is expanding your capacity to experience and express.

Which is just amazing.

And you could do it sitting there with your eyes closed,

Right before bed,

Or when you wake up,

Or throughout the day,

Or when you're taking a shower.

You could do it anywhere,

Just being able to guide your awareness.

So thank you for joining me in this.

I really wanted to inspire and empower you to understand how amazing our own awareness and consciousness actually is.

And how much it does actually affect,

On both sides,

Our life,

Our present moment.

How we show up in each moment.

So I'm Jocelyn.

If you don't follow me,

Please do.

I usually run a bunch of live events each week.

And I have a bunch of courses in automatic writing,

Creative writing,

EFT,

Grief,

Intentions.

I've done a lot.

And I have a bunch of tracks,

A lot of Yoga Nidra's ways to practice guiding your awareness.

And if you can guide it through your physical body,

You can guide it anywhere.

So please follow me if you don't.

And thank you so much for coming along with me.

Namaste.
