Welcome dear center of soul.
This is a gentle space for you to soften and release the day that's just been.
Sometimes at the end of the day things may still hover in our hearts and minds,
Conversations or unfinished tasks,
Worries or even self-criticism.
To drift into a deep and nourishing rest we need to pause,
Acknowledge what lingers and then gently let it go.
So through tapping today we'll acknowledge what is present and soothe your nervous system so you can step peacefully into this night.
Let's start by just acknowledging what is still hanging over me and I start on the side of the hand and then I tap through all the body points starting on top of the head and going downwards but you are of course welcome to follow any EFT tapping process that you are familiar with.
Even though some things from today are still hovering in my mind I choose to gently acknowledge them now.
Even though there are thoughts feelings or tasks that I didn't complete I accept myself for showing up as very best I could and even though part of me is still holding on today and I want to go and complete those things I choose to be gentle with myself in this moment.
And starting on top of the head or your eyebrow point wherever you're familiar with so many things are still hovering.
My mind wants to keep working on them.
I have so many thoughts still about this day.
It's really hard to switch off.
My mind just keeps thinking about all the incompletions.
And my body is still carrying some of the events of this day.
All the thoughts just still whirling around in my mind.
I'm just acknowledging that that is still lingering for me.
And then raise your arms and take a nice deep breath in and out.
For me it's really useful to sigh it out like a big sigh out loud if you can.
It just sends another message to the body that it's okay to release and relax.
And let's continue releasing some pressure and maybe some self-judgment.
Starting again on the side of the hand.
Even though I wish that I had done more or done it better.
I choose to accept myself with kindness.
Even though I'm often hard on myself at the end of the day.
I choose to acknowledge this pattern and I breathe compassion into it.
And even though I still carry pressure or judgment about what I didn't get done or should have done better.
In this moment I choose to loosen my grip on these burdens.
And starting the tapping round.
This big pressure that I put on myself to be perfect.
This feeling of I haven't done enough.
All this self-judgment.
All the criticism that I offer to myself.
All the shoulds and shouldn'ts.
All the what I haven't dones.
So much heaviness to carry into the night.
And right now I'm just acknowledging all of this knowing that I just did my best.
And then pause again.
Rest your arms.
Take a nice deep breath in and out.
And just notice what's your body doing.
What's happening in your mind.
What's happening in your heart.
Let's continue with a round and just start soothing our nervous system.
Side of the hand.
Even though my body might still feel wired or tense with this activity of the day.
I now choose to invite calm into every cell.
Even though my nervous system has been working hard all day.
I now allow it to soften and start unwinding.
Even though I don't know how to relax fully.
I'm always busy in my mind.
I'm open to the possibility of gentle ease.
And starting the tapping round.
I'm just letting my body settle.
I'm soothing my mind,
Body and heart.
I'm inviting soft,
Calm energy.
It's safe to start releasing.
Into the stillness at the end of the day.
I want to start inviting calm into every cell.
I'm allowing it to soften and unwind.
I'm open to the possibility of gentle ease.
I want to feel safe to release this day.
And then just rest your arms again and a nice deep breath in and out.
I'm starting to feel slower and gentler and more space.
I'm hoping you too.
One last little round.
So side of the hand again.
Even though today had its challenges and maybe some triumphs.
I'm now ready to say goodbye to this day.
And even though tomorrow will bring its own opportunities.
Now this night is for rest.
Even though parts of my mind might still want to be holding on.
I now choose peace.
I choose rest and renewal.
And starting the tapping round.
I now choose to say goodbye to this day.
I've acknowledged what's happened,
What should have happened,
What didn't happen.
And now I'm going to choose to allow myself to rest.
I'm trusting that tomorrow will take care of itself.
I trust that it's safe to let all of it go.
I trust that I just did my best in every moment.
And that tomorrow I get a new chance to complete things,
To do things differently.
I choose to welcome deep nourishing sleep.
And let's just take one last nice deep breath in and out.
And let's just take one last deep breath out and in and out.
Dear soul,
You've acknowledged and softened and released whatever what was still hovering about this day.
And now you can allow your body to melt into this present moment.
Your mind to grow quieter.
And your heart to rest in peace.
May your night be gentle.
And may your dreams bring beautiful renewal.
Thank you for tapping with me.
