Greetings and welcome to today's meditation from the Octopus Meditation Series.

Soothing reach.

Embracing calm through the arms of the octopus.

Welcome,

Dear one.

Find a comfortable place to relax,

To ease into this meditation.

Whether it's sitting down or lying down.

Allow your eyes to soften.

Closing gently or maintaining a soft gaze.

Feel the surface beneath you.

Holding your body steady and safe.

Take a deep breath in.

Slow in.

Slow out.

Allowing it to fully release.

Allow yourself to sink deeper into this moment.

Letting everything outside of this space just be.

Gently let go of it.

Imagine now that you are drifting gently underwater.

Surrounded by a soft,

Warm current.

Held within the quiet embrace of the sea.

There is no need to swim.

No effort is needed.

Simply float.

Being supported.

Being weightless and free.

In this vast,

Mysterious ocean,

You notice the presence of a wise being nearby.

A magnificent octopus.

Its graceful arms move slowly,

Fluidly,

Extending outward like a soft,

Spiraling dance.

Beauty in motion.

Majestic.

A wonder.

Each of its eight arms represents a soothing presence.

An extension of calm,

Connection,

And comfort.

Watch now as one of its arms reaches gently,

Inquisitively towards you.

Not to trap you,

But to gently offer connection.

As its arm approaches,

You feel a soft,

Tingling sensation.

Like a cool mist meeting warm skin.

This is your invitation to receive.

Breathe deeply.

And allow yourself to welcome the touch.

Just notice what you might be feeling inside.

Nervousness,

A little anxiety,

Curiosity,

Excitement.

Just notice it.

Now,

With your inner gaze or imagination,

Invite the octopus to extend its other arms towards different areas of your body that may need comfort today.

Perhaps one arm gently wraps around your heart.

Another softly presses near your belly.

One may even caress your throat,

Easing some tension that might be there.

Another cradles your head,

Soothing your thoughts,

Allowing you just to relax and sink deeper into it,

Into its embrace.

Feel the gentle suction cups along each arm.

Each touch amplifies your awareness and sensitivity.

These soft suctions invite you to release stored emotions,

Like a gentle pulling away of old energy.

How does that feel?

Let yourself fully receive this sensation.

Inhale deeply.

As you exhale,

Imagine releasing any tension,

Fear,

Or heaviness through the connection with these arms.

Each suction cup becomes a portal for letting go.

There are over 2,

000 of them.

2,

000 ways to gently release.

Absorbing and dissolving what no longer serves you.

Can you feel it?

Now,

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more relaxed,

More connected,

And more deeply held.

You are safe in this embrace.

Notice now which part of you feels drawn to this octopus energy.

Without judgment,

Simply release what needs to be released.

Simply sense in to this part.

Name it.

Connect with it.

Explore it.

Maybe even with a little bit of curiosity.

Perhaps it's a tender part that's longing for care.

Or maybe a weary part that's ready to rest.

Welcome this part with compassion,

Allowing it to fully receive the soothing presence offered here.

And maybe,

If it feels right,

Allow this part to speak,

Whether silently or aloud.

Let it express what it longs for,

What it needs,

What it is releasing now.

Can you breathe with this part?

Inhale.

And gently exhale.

And as you do so,

Honor its voice.

Honor its wisdom.

You may begin to sense a soft glow surrounding you now.

Notice its colors.

Notice its texture.

Notice how it makes you feel.

The octopus's arms are still wrapped around you.

But their touch is becoming a little bit lighter,

More spacious,

More empowering for you.

The suction cups now offer not only release,

But also nourishment.

Absorbing some wisdom,

Love,

Gentle power from the sea itself and transferring it into your body,

Your heart,

Your mind.

Can you receive that?

Can you feel that?

It's transferring wisdom,

Love,

Gentle power from the sea to you,

To all the places that may need it.

Inhale this nourishment.

Exhale fully,

Knowing you are being replenished.

Feel now a sense of wholeness returning.

Every arm of the octopus is a reminder that you are connected to many parts of yourself.

And all of them belong.

Allow that to land.

See how that resonates within you.

And when it feels right,

And when you are ready,

Gently release the embrace.

Thank the octopus for its guidance,

Its calm,

Its soothing reach.

Begin to return to your body,

Here and now.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a full,

Awakening breath.

And when it feels right,

Slowly open your eyes.

Carry this calm with you throughout your day,

Knowing that you can return to the arms of the octopus within at any time.

Thank you,

And bye-bye for now.
