Welcome to a 10-Minute Guided Meditation for Inner Peace and Optional Self-Massage! Finding moments of inner peace can be a wonderful way to find a gentle awareness from within. Join Breanna Marie as we welcome a short meditation journey to inner peace, weaving in optional self massage or abhyanga to cultivate tranquility, a deep sense of inner peace and restfulness. Feel free to integrate some aromatherapy or oils if that suits you. A nice grounding scent would work well with this practice, but anything that brings peace to the forefront for you is best. Lean into the physical and emotional layers of the self with your awareness guiding you in a gentle body scan and gently weaving in physical touch to cultivate the presence of touch.

Hello beautiful.

You've made it to Mind Your Mindful with Brianna Marie and today we'll be going on a short meditative journey into the realms of inner peace.

And along with that inner peace there'll be some optional invitational language for some self-massage,

Self-touch or apiyanga in Ayurvedic tradition.

This self-massage is completely optional and if you decide to opt out of that part of the experience maybe you could just imagine yourself giving that space some extra love.

Just imagining that space being held.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat and begin to sense the breath,

The gentle rise and fall of the inhalation and the exhalation and just being aware of the space of breath from within the body and outside of the body.

Closing down through the eyes or keeping the gaze very soft.

Could you draw your awareness to the space of the feet?

Feeling the ground beneath you,

Supporting you like the sturdy base of a mountain.

With each breath imagining the roots extending from your feet,

Anchoring you into this space of safety,

Into this earth.

Allowing your hands to reach the space of your feet.

Holding them right hand to right foot,

Left hand to left foot.

Welcoming peace into the space of your feet,

Allowing tension to melt away.

Adding in some light massage,

Giving yourself and these feet some tenderness.

Guiding your awareness with the breath up to the calves and shins and along with your awareness guide your hands up into the space of the legs.

Picturing the calves as gentle slopes with a tender caress.

Could you invite peace to envelop your lower legs,

Releasing any tightness or discomfort?

Guiding the hands,

Drawing awareness to the knees and thighs.

Imagining the strong resilient pillars,

The sturdiness of ancient trees,

The softness of the earth,

The softness of the earth,

The sturdiness of ancient trees.

With loving touch,

Welcome peace into the upper legs and allow any stress or strain to dissolve.

Moving up into the hips and pelvis.

Visualize the sturdy foundation the support,

The unwavering strength of this root center.

Gently guiding the hands on the outside of the hips.

Invite peace to settle here,

Releasing any tension held within.

Noticing the space of the abdomen and lower back.

Reflecting the beauty of the world around you.

The space where your sacral energies lie.

With a graze of the fingers,

Welcome peace into your core.

Allowing any worries or anxieties to melt away.

Beginning to sense the space of the chest and upper back.

Could you imagine the space of the heart center as expansive like a little ball?

As expansive like a flower unfurling to the sun.

Inviting you to breathe freely and deeply with a tender embrace,

Maybe even wrapping yourself in a hug.

Invite peace into your chest.

Allowing it to soothe any tightness or constriction.

Allowing the breath to draw awareness in your shoulders and arms.

Picturing them as graceful branches reaching out to embrace the world around you.

Guiding the right hand on the left arm from shoulder to wrist.

Welcome peace into the shoulder and arm.

Taking the left hand and caressing the right shoulder.

Release any tension.

Welcoming peace with the guidance of the breath.

Guiding awareness into the space of the neck,

The facial features,

And top of the head.

Could you envision the space of the head bathed in a gentle glow of the setting sun?

With a loving touch,

Could you invite the peace into your neck?

The face and head.

Allowing any stress or strain to meld away.

Taking a few moments to bask in the warmth of this peaceful sensation.

Welcome it to envelop you completely.

With each breath,

Feel yourself sinking deeper into a state of relaxation.

With each breath,

More peaceful.

When you're ready,

Begin to notice the physical sensations of the body.

And begin to notice the presence of the physical space all around you.

Beginning to wiggle fingers and toes.

And allow the sensation of touch to welcome your awareness back into the space.

Carrying this feeling of peace moving through the whole body as you continue on in the day ahead.

Knowing that you can come back to this place whenever you need to reconnect with yourself.

Placing the hands at the heart center,

One on top of the other.

Touching the heart center.

Placing the hands at the heart center,

One on top of the other.

Take a moment to presence gratitude for yourself.

For making the time and the space and honoring the sanctum of inner peace for yourself.

Sending you so much love.

And so much peace.

Beautiful day.

And if you like this practice,

I welcome you to watch the next video.
