Settling into your favorite meditative posture,

Seated or lying down,

Softly close or lower your eyes.

Settling into your sacred space,

Attuned to your body,

Relaxing hands,

Relaxing feet.

Relaxing all of the muscles of sensory perception as we go from the outer environment to the inner environment,

To your breath flowing in through your nose,

Your breath flowing out through your nose,

Enjoying each breath as it breathes your body to your steady anchor.

Invite in a longer breath now as you lengthen your inhalation to a count of three,

Letting the breath out through the mouth on a count of three.

If you'd like to make the count higher or lower,

Whatever feels right for you in this moment,

Breathing in through the nose,

Expanding gently,

Exhaling,

Settling your body into your safe space.

Move into a few more rounds on your own,

At your own pace,

Your body relaxing with each exhalation,

Your nervous system harmonizing to this equalizing breath.

Attune back to your natural rhythm of breath after your next exhalation.

Attune to the whole of your body.

Move your awareness to your right foot.

From your toes to your heel,

The right foot's relaxed and still.

Your left foot from toes to heel,

The left foot is relaxed and steady.

Your whole right leg from toes to hip,

Your entire right leg is relaxed and sinking.

Your left leg from toes passing the knee to the hip,

Your entire left leg releasing into the ground.

Your feet and your legs are like the roots of a tree,

Rooting down into the fertile soil of earth below,

Embedded,

Securing your foundation,

Your roots,

Into the earth.

Moving to your hips,

The base of the trunk as you root down,

Your spine rises up,

Supported by the muscles of your back.

The energy flows through to the crown of your head.

It flows upward,

Reaching for the sun,

Gathering nourishment from above.

Your torso is the trunk of your tree,

Stable,

Steady,

Like that of an oak tree,

So strong.

Your heart and your lungs,

Circulating oxygen and nutrients out into the curvy limbs of your tree,

Out into the arms of your body,

Sensing your right arm,

From your fingers to your wrist,

Your wrist to your elbow,

Your elbow to shoulder,

Your whole right arm,

Steady and strong.

Your left arm,

From fingers to wrist,

Your wrist to your elbow,

Your elbow to shoulder,

The whole left arm is settling and stable.

The neck,

The head are motionless,

The muscles of your neck gently supporting the weight of your head,

Muscles of your face and organs of sensory perception softening.

Imagine that you're looking at yourself from outside of your body,

Your legs,

Deep roots,

Your torso,

The sturdy trunk of your tree,

Your arms,

Your neck and your head,

The curvy branches of your tree,

Just like a tree with deep roots,

Able to withstand the strongest of wind and different kinds of weather,

You too,

Able to withstand many external influences trying to uproot you.

You remain firm in yourself,

Your inner resolve,

Your values keep you connected to you,

Anchored to you,

With deep roots connecting you to the earth below,

Just like a sturdy oak tree,

You remain grounded and centered,

True to yourself,

True to your own nature,

True to your internal values,

True to the everlasting part of you,

The everlasting light that is you.

Feeling this connection deep within,

Bring your attention back to your breath,

Flowing in through your nose,

Flowing out through your nose,

Honoring this force that nourishes you,

Embracing this feeling of centering,

Of rooting,

Of connected to your inner self,

Of connected to your inner nature,

Let this resolve live inside of you,

Down to the roots,

Deep within your body,

Placing your hands over your heart,

Breathe into your body,

As you exhale,

Lower your chin down towards your heart,

Honoring your inner self,

Honoring the light,

The breath,

Your body,

Your resolve,

When you're ready,

Lift your head,

Release your hands,

And gently open your eyes,

Have an incredible day.
