Back to the Night Music Meditation If you've been experiencing stress,

Overwhelm,

Anxiety,

Anger,

Fear,

Loneliness,

Boredom,

Perhaps even joyfulness,

Thankfulness,

Celebratory,

Or somewhere in between,

Whatsoever you feel is a-okay,

We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can come back to faith in the unfolding of our day.

That being said,

My friend,

Getting comfortable,

Becoming aware of how you're sad,

Feeling the aliveness of your presence,

You're safe to close the eyes,

Tuning deeper inside,

Witnessing and welcoming your mind as it is,

Inhaling new life,

New energy,

Feeling a warm loving energy spread through the body,

Spread through the mind,

Spread through the spine,

Bringing more awareness,

More trust as you breathe in,

Dropping the shoulders,

Relaxing the belly,

Keeping the body relaxed,

Softening,

Letting go as you look in,

Witnessing and welcoming the mind very gently,

Very lovingly,

Taking a deep breath in,

Breathing into the belly,

And exhale,

Relaxing the belly,

Opening the eyes,

Breathing in compassion,

And exhale,

Letting go,

Breathing in trust,

And exhale,

Letting go.

I thank you for joining me across time and space,

Sending you a big hug,

My dear friend,

Wishing you an abundance of love,

Resourcefulness,

Creativity,

Consciousness,

Being conscious enough to remain playful in your day,

To not take things too serious,

To play is a way that we can open to the present moment.

If you notice,

When we become serious,

It becomes harder for us to stay open to the present moment.

We constrict,

We shut down.

If we can keep a playful approach,

Not getting too heavy about it,

But playful,

Adventurous,

Having fun with it,

This makes it easier to remain in awareness,

In a meditative state,

In a present moment state of being.

Not even a state,

But a way of being.

Have fun.

Your life is precious.

It's worth putting some energy towards having fun with it.
