Imagine yourself surrounded by a gentle bubble of safety.
This bubble is your favourite colour and embraces you perfectly.
You feel completely safe within your bubble.
Bring your attention to your spine,
The central cord of your being.
See it as a luminous channel from crown to root.
From this channel,
Countless threads branch outward,
Glowing filaments like a radiant web.
These are your nerves,
Pathways of sensation,
Memory and spirit.
Imagine a golden light above your head.
Inhale this golden light in through the top of your head.
Let it flow downward,
Lighting up the spinal cord.
With every breath,
Watch this golden energy spread into the branching nerves.
Into your cranial nerves,
Inside your head.
Into the nerves in your face and jaw.
In through your neck and into your shoulders.
Down through your arms and hands.
Breathe this golden light into your ribs,
Chest and abdomen.
Allow your torso to be filled with this gentle and beautiful golden light.
Wherever there is tension,
Darkness or knots,
Let the light gently dissolve and restore flow.
Breathing the golden light down through your hips.
Down through your legs and your knees.
Into your feet and out through the soles of your feet.
Into the earth below.
Ask silently and inwardly,
What message do my nerves carry for me today?
Listen to your body as it forms a response for you.
You may sense a word,
An image or a vibration.
The message your body has will be uniquely for you.
Trust what arises.
Now see your nervous system as a cosmic web of light.
Connected not only within your body,
But extending beyond into the great field of all life.
Whisper,
My nerves are radiant channels of light and awareness.
I am safe in the sensitivity of my being.
Allow yourself to rest in this radiance for a few breaths.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Place your hands over your heart or on your solar plexus.
Thank your body,
Your nerves and your soul.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes with a big smile to yourself.
