Hi,

This is Sabrina and I'm glad you're here.

For the next few moments,

Let's feel the weight of our bodies on the chair or floor and notice our hands,

Shoulders,

And the rhythm of our breath.

This is a pause from doing.

A space where your mind can slow down and your heart can notice itself.

There's nothing you need to fix,

Nothing you need to prove.

You are already here.

You are ready enough.

So,

Let's take a slow inhale and then a long,

Gentle exhale.

And as you do this,

Notice any tension,

Any tightness,

Without judgment.

Where does your body ask for care?

Where does your mind crave quiet?

Friends,

Burnout often hides in small moments of overpush.

An extra task,

A rushed meal,

A skipped breath.

It whispers that our worth comes from doing more.

So right now,

Let's test that idea.

Let's breathe.

Let's notice.

And simply be.

A few years ago,

I tried to make our backyard perfect for a weekend celebration.

I watered the new grass every morning,

Gave it extra fertilizer,

And watched it anxiously.

But by the day of the celebration,

The grass looked worse than before.

The roots had burned.

The effort had become harm.

I realized the intention alone does not create growth.

Sometimes,

Too much attention can smother life instead of nurturing it.

In that moment,

I saw a reflection of myself.

Of how often I push,

I pile on,

And expect immediate results.

And how often I forget that steady,

Quiet care is enough.

There is an old passage from the Hebrew scriptures,

Ecclesiastes,

That says,

To everything there is a season,

And a time for every matter under heaven.

See,

The grass needed its season.

And so do we.

Growth cannot be forced.

Healing cannot be rushed.

So,

Let's take a breath.

Let's feel the truth.

That our presence matters more than our productivity.

And as you come back from that breath,

I invite you to close your eyes if you can.

If not,

Soften your gaze.

But picture your body as soil,

Rich and ready to receive.

Inhale acceptance.

And exhale effort and tension.

If your eyes still closed or your gaze still softened,

Imagine roots growing quietly,

Steadily,

Deep into the support.

All three breaths notices you.

Every exhale releases what is not yours to carry.

And if self-doubt arises,

Let it drift like leaves on water.

And return to the image of your own steady growth.

Notice how your body softens.

How your chest expands.

And how your mind slows.

You are enough.

Here.

Now.

I invite you to gently bring your attention back to the room.

Place a hand on your heart.

And take a deep nourishing breath.

As you do that,

Whisper silently.

Or aloud if you will.

I am enough.

I am allowed to rest.

I trust the rhythm of my life.

I invite you to carry this sense of patience and presence into your day.

It's been an honor to share this space with you.

Until next time,

Rest in the truth.

That you are deeply known.

Wonderfully made.

And unconditionally loved.
