
Unhook And Reclaim Your Energy
This guided meditation invites you to gently release the unseen burdens that cling to your energy field. Through breath, awareness, and a process of unhooking, you will return scattered energy back to yourself, dissolving heaviness and reclaiming lightness. As hooks are released and the energy is restored, you are guided into a state of renewal, empowerment, and deep self-compassion. This practice offers a profound cleansing for both body and spirit, leaving you lighter, clearer, and more whole.

First,
Let's center ourselves with a four-fold breath.
To do the four-fold breath,
Just inhale for four counts,
Hold for four counts,
Exhale for four counts,
And hold for four counts.
Let's do this four times.

See your full body in your mind's eye,
Your feet,
Legs,
Torso,
Arms,
Neck,
Head.
Now see the glow of energy throughout your entire body.
Let your mind open wider and come to the awareness of all sorts of things clinging onto the outside of your body.
You may find some concentrated in your shoulders,
Pelvis,
Stomach,
Or head,
But they are likely spread across your whole body.
You can sense that each of these things is a glass container that is filled with a part of your personal energy.
Throughout your day,
Your mind,
Body,
Aura,
Energy body,
Whatever term resonates with you,
It becomes burdened with these vessels that drain your energy that you are seeing.
What can cause these to develop?
Some examples could be an argument with someone,
Shame for something you did or from a memory,
Troubling things from the news,
An email you received that was harsh,
Embarrassment,
Losing your temper,
Stifling emotions,
Feeling you've been wronged,
Excuses.
What are they doing?
They are each full of part of your energy,
Trapping it and leaving you slightly drained and weighed down.
How are they attached?
Upon further examination,
Each of these things is attached to you with a hook.
Some are sunk deeper than others,
But none are permanent.
Just some might be a bit more painful to take out than others.
Look for a small one anywhere on your body.
Gently unhook it.
Once it is removed,
Drop it to the ground below you.
Watch as it falls.
As it hits the ground,
It shatters,
Releasing the energy it contained,
Which begins pooling around you.
Try another small one.
Pull it out gently.
Drop it.
Splash.
One more small one.
Pull it out.
Drop it.
Splash.
There is now a small pool of energy forming around you.
We are going to work on unhooking as many of these as you are able today,
But please be kind to yourself.
Don't rip them out.
Don't be too forceful.
Be kind to yourself and patient in unhooking these,
Especially the large ones.
As you get the flow of it,
If you feel you can pull more than one at a time,
Feel free to,
But no need to rush or to try to do too much.
Be patient and loving with yourself.
You may have memories,
Emotions or strange feelings come up as you remove some of these.
That is okay.
Observe these things without judgment.
Let's start with the head.
Find a hook.

Be aware of the entire head,

Many things can be coming up at this point from your neck.
We hold a lot of energy and a lot of power here,
And so if any of this has stopped up,
Removing some of these hooks might be releasing that power,
Opening it up to be able to flow better.
This is a good thing,
Though it could be uncomfortable.

There is quite a difference between the upper and lower back,

Our feet.
Make sure to focus on not only the tops and the sides,
But especially the soles of your feet.

Take a minute and notice how much lighter your body feels from your head all the way down to your feet.
You have done a wonderful cleansing for yourself.
Now look down around you and see the large pool of energy you are in.
All of that is your energy.
Energy that has been trapped throughout the day,
Unable to be used by you and be part of you.
All of the shards and hooks from vessels has been absorbed by the earth below you,
Leaving only your pool of energy.
You might see this energy is undesirable because it was within those vessels that were clinging onto you.
But I invite you to recognize that this energy is yours.
It is full of power,
Full of wisdom.
It was taken by all these hooks,
But is now free.
And this energy contains lessons on how to not let these hooks attach to you in the future.
But it is up to you if you wish to bring this energy back within you along with the lessons they hold.
But it is okay if that is not something you choose to do today.
If you are choosing to bring the energy back in,
Take a moment and tell yourself that you truly deserve to be completely filled with energy,
Potential,
And power.
You are always worthy of fullness.
With that thought in mind,
We are going to take three four-fold breaths,
Pulling all that energy up through our mouths and noses.
And then as we exhale,
Seeing that energy expand out into our bodies and our fullness,
Becoming part of us again.

Feeling it course within you.

Pushing it out throughout your entire body,
Feeling yourself.

Feel it pulsing within.

Drawing in that energy that is around you,

Pushing it into every part of your body.

Feeling that wisdom sit within you.

Bringing in the last bits of all that energy into your body.

Letting it settle and integrate.
Take a moment to feel the immensity of yourself,
The lightness of your body,
The fullness of your soul,
The potential for intentional action within you.
