Welcome.

There's nowhere else to be.

There's nothing to do.

Nothing to fix.

Only this moment of gently arriving.

Feel the air at the edge of your skin.

Notice its temperature,

Its weight,

Its stillness.

Let your attention move downward the way ambers settle and cool.

Each inhale a soft stillness.

Each exhale a complete surrender.

Sense the back of your body meeting the surface beneath you.

Gravity is doing the work.

You can stop holding yourself up.

The ground is here to support you.

Imagine the earth beneath you as a warm,

Dark soil.

Every muscle,

Every thought falling into it like gentle rain.

The earth receives everything without judgment or effort.

Bring awareness to your feet.

Feel them cooling,

Widening,

Rooting.

Knees.

Thighs.

Each heavier than before.

Weight spreading.

Breath slowing.

The belly softens.

The chest widens.

The shoulders stones settling at the bottom of a quiet lake.

Your jaw loosens.

The tongue rests against the roof of the mouth.

Behind the eyes,

Light fades to warmth.

Listen for the rhythm underneath the silence.

The quiet,

Steady pulse of your own heartbeat.

The smooth movement of your breath.

The sound of life continuing even in the stillness.

Somewhere below all the stillness,

The earth breathes with you.

Its rhythm and yours begin to match.

Allow your breath to be slow and steady into this count.

In.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Out.

Two.

Five.

Six.

No effort,

Only rhythm.

As you rest here,

Notice that the body begins to feel a little heavier and the mind a little wider.

Like ash settling on fertile ground.

This is the beginning of remembering.

And somewhere inside this quiet body,

Beneath the bone and the muscle,

Beneath the noise of thought,

A faint warmth waits.

A single amber.

The smallest memory of fire.

The body is still,

And yet somewhere inside,

Movement continues.

The slow tide of the breath.

The pulse beneath the skin.

The quiet hum of being alive.

Imagine that with every exhale,

You begin to travel inward.

Not downward,

But deep within,

Through the soft corridors of your own body.

The warmth beneath your ribs glows faintly,

And as you breathe,

It illuminates a passage that opens just beneath the heart.

Each step,

Each breath,

Feels softer than the one before.

You find yourself within a vast cavern.

It doesn't feel cold or threatening.

It feels alive.

A space carved by time and memory,

Where ancient water once moved and left its mark on the stones.

You can hear droplets echoing from somewhere deep inside the walls.

Each sound ripples through your chest,

As if your own heartbeat is answering back.

You breathe again,

Slowly,

Evenly,

And notice how sound and breath begin to blend.

The air moves through the cavern,

The way breath moves through you.

Somewhere in this stillness,

You begin to notice something faintly glowing.

A shimmer.

A reflection.

Maybe a sound that feels like light,

Or a color that feels like memory.

You don't need to know what it is,

Or why it is here.

Let it appear in its own time.

Move a little closer.

Notice how it changes as you breathe.

Maybe it brightens.

Maybe it flickers.

Maybe it simply waits.

It is something that has always been here all along,

Waiting for you to remember.

Something small,

But alive.

Take one slow breath in through the nose.

As the air leaves your body,

You can feel the space around this glow expanding,

As though the cavern itself exhales with you.

There's nothing to find right now.

Nothing to name.

Only this quiet meeting between your breath and the light that lives within the dark.

You can rest here for a while.

Each breath deepens your safety.

Each pause invites your body to soften even more.

And when the time feels right,

The glow will begin to move,

Carrying you gently toward warmth,

Toward the place where fire begins again.

Before the glow begins to fully move,

Take a moment to gently notice the weight of your body again.

Sense the surface beneath your back and the quiet space in your hands.

You are held.

You are safe.

And you are ready.

You begin to notice that the light ahead of you is no longer small.

With each breath,

It expands.

A quiet pulse,

Steady and warm.

It doesn't rush.

It simply grows the way dawn returns to the sky.

Every inhale feeds its glow.

Every exhale purifies and shapes it.

You realize now that this light is breathing with you.

It inhales as you do.

It exhales as you do.

And the two of you,

The breath and the light,

Begin to move as one.

Feel that the warmth begins to gently touch your body.

At first,

Only around the chest and the heart.

Then slowly,

Gently,

It melts through the shoulders,

The spine,

The belly.

It is not heat that burns.

This is the warmth that remembers you.

Each cell begins to wake,

Glowing faintly,

As if hearing its own name.

You can almost sense your body softening and smiling from within.

Let the breath find its natural rhythm again.

Take one slow breath in through the nose.

Hold gently for 2,

And exhale through the mouth.

As you breathe,

Imagine that the air itself is golden.

It enters softly through the nose,

Spreading through the ribs like sunlight through water.

You might begin to feel a subtle tingling in the hands or feet.

A lightness at the top of the head.

These are signs of life returning safely,

Naturally.

If movement wants to happen,

A sigh,

A stretch,

A small roll of the shoulders,

Allow it.

It's your body learning to open again.

Now,

Bring your attention to the center of your chest.

Visualize that golden light gathering there,

Becoming a steady,

Non-flickering flame.

Small,

Alive,

Calm.

This is not a fire that destroys.

It's a fire that teaches you how to live warm again.

You can listen to it if you like.

It may have a sound,

A rhythm,

Or a message without words.

Let it speak to you through sensations,

Through temperature,

Through quiet knowing.

And if you notice an image,

A symbol,

Or a feeling beginning to form within the flame,

Let it.

You don't need to understand it.

It's a gift arising from your own breath.

Stay here for a few more breaths.

With every exhale,

Feel yourself becoming lighter,

Clearer,

Brighter,

As if the flame is remembering itself through you.

Soon,

This light will begin to move beyond you,

Carrying you gently upward toward the open sky of your own awareness.

The flame steadies inside you,

No longer fragile,

No longer small.

It breathes as you breathe.

It shines as you shine.

You begin to feel it expand beyond the edges of your body,

As if light is gently seeping into the space around you.

It doesn't leave you.

It becomes you.

A radiant pulse,

Moving outward and inward all at once.

The warmth spreads through the world within you.

You begin to sense textures,

Colors,

Or sounds.

Maybe even earth beneath your feet.

The hush of water.

The whisper of wind.

Each landscape you move through seems to recognize you.

The world changes as you exhale.

The world breathes you back as you inhale.

You might feel a soft breeze brushing across your face,

Or a smooth current of water sliding along your hands,

Or the firm weight of soil beneath your feet.

Notice which element feels most welcoming to you.

Let yourself move through these realms.

Earth.

Water.

Air.

Fire.

Each one offering something it knows you need right now.

Perhaps you notice a sound that calls to you.

A tone.

A heartbeat.

A whisper.

Or a shape beginning to form.

A color.

A pattern.

An object.

A feeling.

Whatever appears,

Let it come forward.

It may be something familiar or entirely new.

You don't have to reach for it.

You don't have to understand it.

Just allow yourself to be chosen by it.

It may rest in your hand,

Or it may rest somewhere inside your chest.

This is your artifact.

Your symbol.

Your tool.

Take one slow breath in through the nose.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Hold gently for two.

And exhale through the mouth.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Six.

And feel the symbol settle into you.

Let it show you what it means through feeling.

Maybe it carries strength.

Maybe softness.

Maybe a kind of knowing that has no words.

Whatever it is,

It knows how to help you remember.

And every time you recall it,

The same calm,

Steady fire will return.

You begin to rise to the light now,

Carrying the symbol with you,

Woven into the rhythm of your breath.

As you lift,

Notice how the world around you glows.

The air shimmers.

The body feels both weightless and grounded,

Alive and still.

This is what it means to rise without leaving yourself.

To expand without effort.

To awaken without rushing.

Ahead,

The light begins to soften again.

You know it's time to return.

Not downward,

But inward.

To bring this flame home.

You return to the rhythm of your breath.

The world around you slows again.

The light that once surrounded you now settles softly inside your body.

It finds its home beneath the heart,

Where warmth meets stillness.

You can feel it pulsating gently,

Steady,

Alive,

Calm.

The artifact you receive,

The symbol that chose you,

Now rests somewhere within the flame.

It doesn't need to be held.

It simply lives there,

Breathing when you breathe.

Take a moment to notice where in your body this feeling lands.

Maybe in the chest.

Maybe the palms.

Maybe the space behind your eyes.

Whatever it is,

Let your awareness rest there.

As you breathe,

Imagine the warmth from this place spreading slowly through you.

Across the shoulders,

Down the arms,

Through the belly and spine,

Until it reaches the legs and down to the soles of your feet.

The whole body glows now,

A field of quiet fire,

Neither hot nor cold,

Just perfectly and simply alive.

This is your natural state of regulation.

Steady heart,

Soft breath,

Open awareness.

If you wish,

Let the image of your symbol fade for a moment.

What remains is the feeling it carries.

The nervous system remembers this feeling more easily than any picture.

You can return to it whenever you need,

Not by thinking of it,

But by breathing the way you are breathing now.

Take one slow breath in through the nose,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold gently for two,

And exhale through the mouth,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Let the breath become softer still,

Almost invisible,

As if the world itself is breathing you.

The flame that waited to rise has risen.

It has not changed you into something new.

It has reminded you of who you've always been.

You are the warmth that remains after the fire,

The steady light beneath the story,

The quiet strength that listens before it acts.

Stay here for as long as you need.

Feel the pulse of the heart,

The weight of the body,

The space around you.

When you are ready,

There's no rush.

You can gently open your eyes,

Or you may choose to keep them closed for a few moments longer,

Simply carrying this inner flame with you,

Not as something to protect,

But as something that protects you.

The flame that waited was you all along,

The one who stayed,

The one who rises.
