Welcome to this meditation to help give your immune system the boost it needs.

Begin by finding yourself seated comfortably,

With your back upright.

Make sure you're in a quiet space.

Relax both your hands.

When you're ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Notice how you feel right now,

In this moment.

Where does the emotion lie in your body?

What kind of day are you having?

How is your health at the moment?

Now take note of your breath.

Notice the sensations of the air as it naturally flows in and out of your body.

Where do you feel the breath the most?

Just explore the sensations,

The movements,

And anything else associated with the breath as you breathe naturally in and out.

And if any thoughts arise,

If you're thinking of your day,

Or if anything else is popping up,

Just take note of the thought.

Acknowledge it,

Like you're watching it through a TV screen.

When you're ready,

Gently go back to your breath,

And let the thought float away,

Like a cloud in the sky.

Then when you're ready,

Go back to your breath.

Notice the muscles in your body.

Have any muscles tensed up without you realizing?

Notice where the tension may lie,

And relax the muscles that may be tense.

Once your muscles are relaxed,

You may go back to your breath,

Gently surrendering to the stillness,

To the natural rhythm of your breath.

Just check in on your body now.

Is there any part of your body that may need healing?

Is it a soreness?

Any concern?

Or is it a general sort of healing that you're looking for?

What we're going to do now is take deep breaths in and out,

Together,

To invite more oxygen into our bodies,

And to help boost the immune system.

So,

Together,

Let's take five deep inhales and exhales.

Let's do it.

First,

Deep breath in,

And deep breath out,

All the way out.

And again,

Deep breath in,

And deep breath out.

Let every bit of air leave your body.

And again,

Deep breath in,

And deep breath out.

Deep breath in,

And deep breath out.

Last one,

Deep breath in,

And deep breath out.

And when you fully exhale,

Let all the air out,

And then hold your breath for five seconds.

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And just go back to your natural rhythm.

Notice how the breath flows right now.

Notice how the body feels.

Just feel the process of the breath.

Feel the oxygen flowing in and out.

Check in on your body.

Have any muscles tensed up?

And if so,

Relax those muscles.

Relax your whole body.

We're going to do this again.

This time,

When you breathe in,

I want you to breathe into your belly,

Into your diaphragm.

Let the air flow deep into your belly.

So,

Let's do this.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out,

All the way out.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

One more one.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

Let all the air leave your body.

So,

There's no more air,

And hold for five seconds.

And just go back to your natural breathing rhythm.

Notice how it feels when you breathe naturally.

Take note of the sensations of the breath.

And relax your muscles if there's a need for it.

Just make sure your whole body is fully relaxed.

And again,

Deep breath in,

And deep breath out.

All the way out.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

Last one.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

When you fully exhale,

Just keep holding.

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

And go back to your natural breathing rhythm.

Just notice how it feels when you breathe.

Notice if any muscles may have unconsciously tensed up.

And if so,

You may relax those muscles.

And surrender to the calm,

Zen,

Stillness that you are now exposed to.

It allows your body to express itself in the healthiest of ways.

We're going to do this one more time.

Let's take a deep breath in as deep as you can.

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

One more.

Deep breath in.

And let all the air out.

And when you've fully exhaled,

Hold for as long as you can.

Just keep holding until your body naturally wants to gasp for air.

And when you finally do breathe,

Just notice the rhythm.

Notice the pace at which you naturally breathe.

Have any muscles tensed up without you noticing?

Just notice the muscles.

Relax your body.

Relax your jaw.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your belly.

Your whole body is fully relaxed.

This is your beautiful moment of stillness.

This is your body in its ideal state.

And as you are here now,

I want you to imagine a big ball of light floating directly above you.

Big,

Round ball of blue light.

The size of an inflatable beach ball.

As it is floating there,

I want you to feel warmth coming out of it.

Warm energy emanating from this blue ball of light.

And just feeling this energy makes you feel better.

It's a good kind of energy.

A vibrant energy with a touch of love in it.

And you can tell that it has the power to fuel your body to greater lengths.

As you are feeling the energy,

The warmth coming from this ball as it floats above you,

Know that this is a healing ball.

And in the next minute,

We're going to let it float through our bodies.

As it scans the body and fills your body with healing energy,

Help accelerate your healing and encourage your immune system to work better for you.

Now just imagine the ball touching the top of your head.

You can feel the warmth increasing.

And it works its way down through you,

Into you,

The ball goes through you.

Through your face,

Nice and slowly at its own pace.

And for the next minute,

Let the ball work its way down through your body.

Passing along positive,

Loving,

Healing energy through you.

And if it does pass by a spot of yours that needs extra healing,

Let it stop there for a few seconds and focus on this spot for a little longer.

I'll be with you in about 30 seconds,

But let this ball slowly work its way down and feel the warmth,

Embrace the loving,

Healing energy.

Let it keep floating.

Feel the energy coming from it,

Slowly shrinking into the size of a marble.

And eventually,

Once it gets to the size of a marble,

Let it sink in your body.

And even better,

If there is a part of your body that needs healing,

Let this blue marble of energy light work its way to this body part now and stay there.

So if this energy will keep healing this body part of yours,

Even while you go about your day,

Feel the love and appreciation your body is giving you back.

You are giving your body everything it has ever wanted.

Tranquility and love and a bit of your attention.

That's not too much to ask for.

Notice your muscles,

Relax your muscles if any of them are tense now.

And as we are here in this pure moment of stillness and presence,

Let's repeat a few affirmations together.

Please repeat them after me.

And when you say each affirmation,

Try to say it like you mean it.

I am in the process of healing.

I trust my body.

I appreciate my body's efforts to heal.

I respect my body's wisdom.

My body is in sync with the universe.

Let's take one more deep breath in through the nose,

As deep as you can.

And slowly exhale.

Relax your muscles as you breathe out.

And when you are ready,

You may gently open your eyes.

Knowing that you have done something incredible today,

You have strengthened your relationship with your body,

With your immune system,

With your inner being.

And my friend,

That is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

I want to wish you many more years of health and perpetual healing.

And most importantly,

Of unconditional love.
