Within this offering I take you through a gentle expansive relaxation connecting and expanding through breath to nurture your earth light body on many levels. The more we open our bodies, the more we open our emotions and beliefs, enabling us to live and create a world of compassion, understanding and listening. May you enjoy this humble offering.

Hello and welcome to this relaxation.
For this technique,
I would suggest that you lay.
I think you'll gain a lot more out of this if you find yourself in a place where you can lay and be undisturbed.
We're going to gently allow the breath to be a beautiful vessel to relax your physical body,
Your mental body and of course your emotional body.
So when you're ready,
You're in a comfortable position,
Take yourself out into the shape of a star,
Your arms and your legs out wide.
Allow yourself to just feel that the body is able to let whatever is underneath you,
Whether it's the earth,
Whether it's the floor,
Whether it's your bed,
But you're able to really just let the earth hold you.
And then as you breathe in on the exhalation,
Feel your body let go on another level.
Make any adjustments that you need to.
If you feel a little bit of tension in the shoulders or in the legs,
Move the limbs around until you find yourself in a really comfortable position.
Sometimes we don't realise how tight the body is until we go to relax it and then it's got all these little twitches and jerks and all of that is the tension unravelling within the nervous system and also within the actual tendons and muscles.
Now once you start to feel that you can bring some stillness to your body,
We're going to do three breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Your time,
Your breath.
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
And on this third and final,
Or it might be your fourth,
Breathe in through your nose and as you breathe out through your mouth,
Really extend that exhalation.
Don't strain but allow the exhalation to start to become longer than the inhalation.
Now this is a really beautiful gift to give the nervous system because if you think about it,
If you are in a truly relaxed serene state,
You are quite,
You know,
Your breathing is quite relaxed and it's easy to do a longer exhale than an inhale.
And what happens is,
Is when we become tight and tense and stressed,
We have a tendency to shorten our breath.
And so when you start to practice,
Mindfully practice,
Creating a longer exhalation than the inhalation,
You're telling your nervous system we're safe,
It's okay,
We can relax.
And this can have an incredible physiology to the way that you can still deal with stress,
But not be completely consumed by it.
Remember what I share with you all the time,
Mindfulness is simply a mind full of this moment.
Whatever you're doing.
So every time you can call your breath to the forefront of your mind,
You're practicing mindfulness,
Because you're breathing.
It's that simple and can be that life changing.
So now we're going to gently close the eyes,
If you haven't already done so.
And we've now returned to breathing in and out the nose.
And if this is difficult for you,
Then just start to practice a few in and out the nose.
And if you need to get some extra air and need to breathe through your mouth,
And that's okay.
But we do want to start to practice and create the habit of breathing in and out your nose.
You're gifted the perfect filtration system.
When we breathe in and out the nose,
The air is moistened.
It is filtered through the hair follicles.
And it is compressed so it is warmed.
So by the time it gets down into the lungs,
It's been filtered,
Moistened and warmed.
Now when we exhale out the nose,
We ensure that all that stale air moves through the nasal passage.
And of course,
Any of the dust or little particles that you've collected on your hair follicles in your nose will be blown out.
When we breathe in and out through the mouth,
None of this filtration system can happen.
So cold,
Dry,
Unfiltered air is taken directly into the lungs.
And that's not optimal.
That's not what we want.
So just keep breathing in and out the nose aware of this.
And remember also,
To breathe in and out the nose causes the diaphragm beautiful muscle that is there to help you breathe.
But also,
If you breathe well,
You are massaging your abdominal organs.
So it's going to stimulate them and help them to detoxify.
Now if you breathe in and out your mouth,
That doesn't happen.
Because the diaphragm doesn't have to work as hard.
So the more you can bring that nasal breathing into everyday existence,
The stronger and healthier you will become.
So now we're going to go a little bit deeper.
And every time you inhale,
I want you to imagine you inhale and take that inhalation to the center of your chest to the sternum.
And the next exhalation,
You're going to imagine you exhale wave down from the sternum,
Center of your chest down through your torso down through your right leg.
And you inhale again to the center of your sternum.
And you exhale down in the direction of the right leg,
All the way to the sole of your foot.
And a third and final inhale.
And exhale down in the direction and through the right leg.
The next inhale,
Bring it back to the sternum.
And this time we're going to take the exhale in a direction we're directing it down the left hand side,
Down through the left hip,
Left leg,
All the way to the sole of the left foot.
Inhaling again.
Exhale down,
Down,
Down.
And allow this beautiful flow to just release any tension,
Fatigue,
Soreness.
And then we're going to inhale through the sternum and now we're exhaling down both legs,
Down through the torso,
Down through the hips,
Knees,
Ankles,
Out through the feet.
Just keep breathing with that awareness,
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing the breath to the sternum,
And then out,
Down,
Down,
Down.
And now we're going to shift and come back to the sternum.
And this time we're taking it out through the right shoulder and the right arm all the way.
All the way.
Beautiful.
Out to the fingertips.
Feel how the exhale helps you to release the tension,
How it helps you align to a more serene,
Tranquil experience.
And then we shift into the perspective of bringing the breath into the sternum.
And this time as we exhale,
We take it out through the left hand side,
The chest,
The shoulder,
Upper arm,
Elbow,
Forearm,
Wrist,
Fingers.
Breathing in to the awareness of the sternum.
And giving yourself permission to let go as you exhale and imagine that breath moving out through that left hand side.
And now we shift it.
We create,
So that we bring the breath into the sternum,
And we exhale out through both arms.
Both arms moving out.
Inhale to the sternum,
Exhale out through both arms.
And the final direction that we move from the sternum is to breathe in,
Bringing the awareness to the sternum.
And on this exhale,
We're going to go up through the skull and down through the torso to the pelvis.
Moving that breath in both directions.
Up and out the crown and down through the belly and through the pelvis.
Couple more.
Inhale to the center of the sternum,
Exhale out through the crown and down through the pelvis.
So we've created six lines of energy through the body.
Six lines where we're expanding the heart energy out through the body.
And now we're going to drop.
Imagine just a droplet of the color gold gets dropped into a heart space.
There's a shimmer of silver.
And now we're going to inhale to the sternum.
And expand in all six directions.
Down through the legs,
Out through the arms,
Down through the pelvis,
Up and through and out the crown.
Creating this beautiful golden silver shimmering star.
Now the one thing you notice is all of a sudden,
This epicenter in the heart is expanding.
And it actually goes a little bit higher than the sternum and a little bit lower than the sternum.
So the epicenter of your heart space is growing.
And you inhale into that place.
And you exhale expanding in all six directions.
A beautiful golden energy with the shimmers of silver.
And you begin to notice this equilibrium between the gold and the silver.
And so the gold and the silver are fusing to create the most beautiful incredible shimmering light.
Is your earth light,
Your brilliant divine presence,
Feel how every particle of your being is infused with this light.
That there is not one aspect of you that feels doubt or fear.
Every fiber of your being is filled with divine light,
With tranquility,
Serenity,
Harmony.
You are beautiful.
You are divine by nature.
And you are a brilliant bright light upon this blessed earth.
Feel the expansion of who you are.
Feel grounded,
Peaceful,
And an expanding conscious awareness.
Feel your grounding,
Fully aware of where you are now,
But also expanded light that you have created.
Thank you for sharing space with me.
And may your inner light,
Your beautiful earth light,
Continue to shine.
To shine brightly.
