So you can begin by leaning back,
Lying back,
Or laying down.
And letting your body get as comfortable as you desire.
Just beginning to arrive.
And we begin by noticing our breath,
Not having to lengthen or shorten it.
Letting the body be breathed just by the breath itself.
And noticing that we're worthy of the gift of life each time we breathe.
With nothing to do,
Nothing to have,
Nothing to know,
And nothing to be.
And as you bring your awareness to your breath,
Noticing the temperature of the breath.
Noticing the cadence of the breath.
Or perhaps how the breath is moving through your body.
And then,
On the next inhalation,
Bringing your awareness into the middle of your brain.
Inviting your true self to hop into the elevator.
And in its own timing,
Taking that elevator awareness down into your physical heart.
And you can place one or two hands there if that feels supportive,
Or you can just notice what's happening there.
And as you enter your heart space,
Noticing the temperature of your heart.
Perhaps you notice it through whatever you're wearing.
Or noticing the rise and fall of your chest.
Feeling the heartbeat isn't required,
But allowing yourself to come deeper inside is part of this invitation.
Noticing both the front of the heart and the back of the heart.
Noticing its expanse throughout your entire chest.
Then on the next inhalation,
Bring your awareness into your sitz bones.
Allowing your pelvic bowl to make contact with whatever you're seated on.
Noticing that the pelvic bowl holds all of us.
It's the strongest bone in the body.
It allows us to sit sovereignly and peacefully in this body that we've chosen.
And then on the next inhalation,
With the speed of the imagination,
Inviting your energetic feet to go deep into the core of the center of Mother Earth.
Noticing that Mother Earth has given to us as an existence for millennia.
She's unconditionally supported the elements,
The land,
The plants,
The animals,
The organisms,
And the human beings.
She wants to unconditionally give to you the vibration of peace.
When you're ready,
We're shifting from doing to allowing.
Allowing Mother Earth to share her unconditional peacefulness with you.
All that's required is for you to give your permission.
When you're ready,
Inviting in to the next inhalation,
The vibration of limitless peace.
If the flow of energy is too intense,
You can put a spout or a spigot near your energetic feet.
As you breathe,
Allowing the vibration of peacefulness to come through your physical feet,
Through your calves,
Your knees,
Your quads and hamstrings,
Through your pelvic bowl,
Through your gut,
Through your solar plexus or belly button,
Through your lungs,
Through the front and back of your heart,
Across your shoulder blades,
Down through your arms,
Through the front and back of your throat,
Through your jaw,
Your sinuses,
The front and back of your eyes and up through the crown of your head.
And as peace begins to settle in your body-mind on the next inhalation,
Inviting the flow of energy to double,
Going to the places known and unknown that long for deeper peace in the physical body,
In the energetic body,
In the emotional body and in the spiritual body.
Allowing your true self,
The one who notices,
To begin to notice what's present as you begin to open up to deeply receive this unconditional peacefulness.
And that this isn't about my beliefs or to tell you what is true for you,
It's about allowing yourself to notice what is present and true for you.
That the parts of you that don't want to receive,
That aren't ready,
They're welcome to just watch or take a break.
They're not required to receive.
And the parts of you that long for this deeper peace,
Allowing them to take in as much as they want.
And then on the next inhalation,
Inviting the flow of peacefulness to double once again.
And bringing the flashlight of your awareness deeper within.
Noticing what's bubbling up around this deep longing for peace.
What wants to be held,
Acknowledged,
Witnessed or noticed.
And allowing yourself,
Your true self,
To lean back into the vastness of who you are.
That there's enough space for the longing.
There's enough space for the thoughts and feelings and stories.
And then noticing if there's anything else that wants to be acknowledged.
Anything that wants to be tended to.
And inviting in deep peace into those places.
The thinking mind might not understand it,
But the body mind,
The one who notices,
Can allow in even one droplet of peacefulness.
And then when you're ready,
You can place one hand on your heart and one hand on your solar plexus or belly button.
And allowing your body mind to seal in whatever is true for you.
That when the thinking mind doesn't understand or gets hooked or confused,
You can go back to this deeper place of awareness,
Of contact with deep,
Limitless peace.
And then when you're ready,
Beginning to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Rolling your shoulders,
Yawning,
Blinking your eyes.
Knowing that you can come back to this whenever you desire.
