Hello,
My name is Angela Rose and I drew a card for today's meditation from my Oracle card deck.
If you are interested in having your own card deck,
Feel free to check out my bio.
Today's message is on how to fill your soul cup.
So by the end of the meditation,
My intention for you is to feel aligned with yourself,
With your soul,
With your spirit.
Before we begin,
I want to encourage you to take out a scrap piece of paper,
A journal,
Or a notebook,
Whatever your preference is,
And write down anything that's keeping you feeling stuck or weighed down.
And when you're ready,
We will begin.
So I want to encourage you to check in with yourself and ask yourself,
For this meditation today,
Would you like to stand up?
Would you like to sit or lie down?
Or maybe you want to do more of a walking meditation and listen to this while you're walking outside.
If you feel safe to do so,
Now you can close your eyes and we're going to just check in with our face.
Relaxing the muscles around your eyes.
Relaxing your jaw.
Relaxing all of the muscles in your face.
Relaxing your neck.
Feeling your neck open.
Maybe you can even feel your breath moving more fluid up and down.
Relax your shoulders down and back.
Softening your chest.
Softening your stomach.
Relaxing your glutes,
Your legs,
Your feet.
Maybe wiggle your toes.
Relaxing your arms and your hands.
Your whole body just letting go,
Wherever you are,
If you're lying down or sitting.
Allowing the full support of the chair,
The full support of the bed,
Wherever you're at,
To fully support you.
And even in your mind saying to yourself,
I am fully supported.
Maybe you speak it out loud.
I am fully supported.
I know how to support myself.
I am safe.
I am secure.
In this moment,
I am alive.
In this moment,
I am here.
In this moment,
I am right where I need to be.
In this moment,
There is nothing I need to do besides just to be here with myself in this moment.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and imagine this breath going all the way down into your stomach to the lowest part of your hips.
Feel how spaciousness the insides of your body feel.
Feel your stomach expand.
Allow your stomach to rise and fall with every breath.
Just notice your breath.
Maybe it feels good to take deep breaths.
Maybe your breath feels a little stuck.
Maybe you still feel a little tight.
That's okay.
Just notice and allow whatever is moving through you just to be okay.
As you exhale,
Breathing out of your mouth,
We're going to imagine an ocean wave.
Imagining the ocean wave,
How it flows onto the beach and flows back into the waters.
That flow that just happens naturally,
Comes and goes.
Notice what your wave looks like.
Maybe it's a small wave.
Maybe it's a little bit bigger.
Notice its power.
Notice its strength.
Just feeling that you are the ocean,
The waves,
And the beach.
You are all of it.
Your body just knows what to do,
Like the ocean wave,
How it just flows naturally.
Your body also has the same wisdom to it.
It moves without you having to do anything at all.
Imagining your specific ocean wave coming in through your nose,
Going all the way down into the lowest part of your hips.
Notice how much space opens up in your hips,
Your abdomen.
As you exhale,
Imagining this beautiful ocean wave going out of your mouth,
Just flowing naturally.
Breathing in peace and joy,
Gratitude,
And blowing out any worries or fears or anxieties.
Just knowing that these are thoughts and feelings that are a part of you,
But they're not you as a whole.
They're an experience.
Maybe you place a hand on your stomach and one hand on your heart.
Just noticing your own rhythm.
Noticing how we each have our own special rhythm.
Just noticing yours and how it feels.
Noticing how your body feels in this moment.
Knowing that there's no right or wrong way to feel,
Just allowing yourself to feel at all.
Bring to your mind the beach and notice what you see when you look around this body of water.
Maybe it's a lake.
Maybe it's the ocean.
Maybe it's a pond.
Maybe it's a stream.
Trust in whatever image comes to your mind.
Notice who's around you.
Maybe you're by yourself.
Maybe there's other people around.
Notice what you hear,
The sounds.
Maybe it's completely silent.
Maybe you hear birds.
Maybe you hear kids splashing in the water.
Maybe you hear adult laughter.
Maybe you just hear the sounds of the water,
The waves,
And notice what you can touch.
Maybe you reach down and pick up some warm sand.
Maybe the sand flows through your fingers.
Maybe you're floating in some water.
Maybe you're lying in a chair,
Soaking up the sun.
Notice what you're wearing.
Just take a look around,
Embodying it all,
All the senses.
Maybe this is your safe space for you to come back to and ask yourself when you're in this space,
This very sacred space,
Safe space of yours,
What do you need to do right now?
What do you want to do?
What is the next best thing that sounds amazing,
That would bring you a little bit of joy in this moment,
In this space of being by this water?
Maybe it's to just lie down in this chair or on the beach,
Soaking up the sun,
Taking a nap,
Or reading a book.
Or maybe it's laughing with a friend.
Maybe you decide to get up and run into the water,
And splash,
And play,
And dance,
Or swim.
Maybe you decide to float in this body of water.
Let yourself imagine,
And just to be free,
And explore,
And create,
And do.
Maybe you do things you would never do in real life.
Maybe this is a place to kind of shut down and just to be for a moment.
We're gonna take some nice,
Deep breaths together while we are imagining ourselves in this very sacred and safe space.
And when you feel ready,
Come back to the present moment.
Come back to now.
Come back to being right where you are.
We're gonna start to wake up our body.
Maybe you move or wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Pay attention to what your body is craving right now.
What do you need?
Maybe you move your neck from side to side.
Just intuitively move your body to whatever feels right in this moment.
Just trusting yourself,
That radical trust in yourself.
And ask yourself,
What is the next best loving thing you need for you right now in this moment?
And trust whatever comes to your mind.
Maybe it's to eat something,
Or take a nap,
Or go for a walk.
Whatever message came through for you,
Trust that that is the right message.
Maybe you decide to take out a journal,
Or a scrap piece of paper,
And write down what is the next best loving thing you need for you in this moment.
And today,
I encourage you to have this radical trust within yourself.
This radical trust that you know how to feel secure in your body,
In yourself,
In your soul.
You know how to support yourself.
You know how to love you best.
And inside your spirit,
Your soul knows that and wants you to love you.
And today as you go about your day,
Keep asking yourself,
What do I need right now?
What do I need?
What do I feel?
What do I want?
What do I desire?
And maybe you don't do anything with that.
Maybe it's just a thought in awareness.
That's how we create the life we want.
We start by planting little seeds,
Planting little seeds within.
You are amazing.
And you are here on this earth to fully expand and grow.
And that starts with first having self-awareness to what feels good to you.
And when we connect the dots,
When we align with our soul's purpose,
By every day checking in,
Every moment,
Every second of the day of asking yourself,
What do you need?
Those are little stepping stones to bring you closer to yourself,
To bring you closer to your soul's purpose.
You have all the answers within.
You just need to trust yourself enough to know that you do.
So whenever you're ready,
Checking with your body,
Waking up your body,
Doing a full body stretch,
If that's what feels good,
Taking a few moments after this meditation,
Just to be with yourself.
I hope you enjoyed today's meditation.
I believe in you.
Keep shining.
